"Ive stayed here alot and enjoy the pet friendly rooms. The pet area has a lot of ants and barely any grass and lots of trash on the ground, but it does the job. This time however, I booked three pet rooms because it didn't give me the option of choosing different room types and I was moving with the movers and my adult children and grand children. I told them at check in we only needed one pet room and the rest could be regular, the frontdesk clerk asked me how many pets and I told her two. She then said I would need to go and get $15 in cash because they can only charge for one pet per room and can't add an additional fee on there for the second pet. I told her I wasnt going to go to an atm and just to give me two pet rooms and charge for one pet each in each room. She said she would prefer not to do that so she could have a pet room available for other people. I said im not going to go to an atm so you can give me two pet rooms and charge me or just charge me the one fee. Outrageous. Then when we got to the room the tv was not working so I had to go up to the frontdesk to get a "special" remote to fix the issue, and then return the remote. Breakfast was decent and morning frontdesk was friendly. The rooms are decent but not worth the hassle. The frontdesk said it was new owners and I really hope they get these items ironed out. I own a small motor-inn so I dont say these things lightly."

"It's the place to stay in Fort Sumner. Check in and checkout was easy. The room was great and the breakfast was good for what they had. Also near Billy the Kid's tombstone/visitor center."
