"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the AQUA Hotel Silhouette and Spa. While the surrounding area may not be the most aesthetic, once you step inside, you are transported into a high-end, tranquil environment that feels worlds apart from the street outside. We stayed in a room with a pool view, and although the décor felt slightly dated, the effort to maintain cleanliness was evident and impressive. Aside from some minor dust on surfaces and the remote, the room was excellent. The staff truly made our stay; they were consistently friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The pool area was excellent and well-maintained. We had no trouble finding sun loungers, though we visited outside of peak season. Regarding the spa, it was not quite to our taste as the area felt quite dark, the pool water was a bit too warm, and there was no way to adjust the sauna temperature. The food was a mixed bag. We enjoyed the croissants, yoghurt, and fruit. However, the hot buffet items, such as the steak, pasta, and breakfast items, were consistently served cold. One minor frustration was the inconsistent information regarding additional fees. We noticed discrepancies in parking rates and received several different quotes from different staff members for a late checkout. A standardised price list for these services would definitely improve the guest experience. Overall, it was a great, relaxing stay with wonderful service, and we would certainly return."

"good variety of food, good cleaning staff, reception and security leave a lot to be desired. this was during the football tournament and the noise and filth from the guests put a real bad note to the experience. a room change was granted on the penultimate night which was helpful as i had been unable to sleep for the first part of the stay due to rowdy guests and security’s inability to do anything about it really. it was quite intimidating for a lone traveller to be in that position, but i was assured that when the football tournament isn’t on it is much nicer, which i would well believe. all in all, not great but what can you do."

"Nice room and balcony, spacious. Quite noisy next to the lift and people exceptionally noisy in the corridor. Despite being on the top floor, could hear the music in the bar on the ground floor. Comfy bed and nice shower. Spa ok."

"Self catering apartment. Apartment was in the annex building which is at the back of the main hotel. Difficult finding in the dark as annex has a different name to main hotel! Apartment clean, had everything we needed. Kettle, toaster, hob and utensils for basic meals but ate out most nights. Pool freezing but was end of October. Ok once you’re in!! Very enjoyable stay"

"This beachfront hotel was our stop after a long, hilly bike ride from Palafrugell. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable for two tired cycle tourists. Note, they are pretty much the only restaurant open in the area during November for dinner. Much to our surprise. The buffet on offer was good with lots of variety to choose from. The same goes for breakfast buffet, which was delicious fuel for our ride to Barcelona. Kudos to the two waitstaff who were working hard keeping up with the many people dinning there. The other note, there is room in the little luggage storage for bikes, but you have to carry your bikes up the outdoor stairs to the lobby."
