"I spent one week at Amankaya and had a great time! Fernando is an amazing host that always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. The location is a bit secluded from everything but theres a boat that can pass by the lakehouse 3x a day which makes accessing all of the other villages very easy. There is complimentary water and kayaks available. The kitchen is very big and very well stocked. Theres also a lovely dog and 2 cats to keep you company. I'd recommend Amankaya to...
"the beds were pretty uncomfortable, the rooms didn’t seem very well taken care of the sink had a weird smell because of the mold build up on the sink. the floor of the shower & bathroom
had mold and seem very dirty as if it weren’t well cleaned as well as the room itself held a very strong smell. the restaurant provided good food as well as presentation and taste, I enjoyed the views and how helpful they were with getting transported to the other side of the lake, I tried to get in the pool but...
"Amazing! A place to relax, take in the views. Stairs everywhere m, you have to be really careful, not for elderly or handicapped. But must stay at least one night."
"The room was beautiful and it was really clean. The area of the hotel is also very beautiful with all the trees and plants everywhere. Perfect location in my opinion, the stores close around 9pm and it's quiet after sun fall. San Juan and San Pedro is only 10-15 ferry ride. It was an excellent stay and the staff were very helpful with our luggage."
