"We had the room next to the hot tub with a balcony overlooking the valley, the cities below and the mountains. Wow, wow, wow! Fort was right next door. Restaurants were available even though it wasn’t high season. We fell in love with Marvão. What a wonderful place"

"I booked a standard room. It's supposed to look to the garden but it's literally to the car park. Awful view. I asked to upgrade which took some persuasion even though the hotel had 3 rooms occupied. Got a nice room in the end. Balconies and outside areas weren't not clean. Lots of weeds in most places. Terrace could be nice but wasn't particularly pleasant. Breakfast was very poor. Felt like back in COVID times we had to pre book. Half croissant I had. Must be tough times Recommend to stay in Casa das Estevas"
