Trial by Fire at the Orly

We visit Chile frequently, and usually stay at the Orly, preferring the main building, not the annex. Our last visit was during Chile's violent disturbances and the hotel staff was simply outstanding! They found us open restaurants, kept the laundry and all facilities operating, and even sat up all night guarding the doors.] It is well located, reasonably priced, and staffed by very helpful and attentive staff. It only offers breakfast, but the area is surrounded with an abundance of great restaurants.

Hotel muito bem localizado, ao lado de muitas casas de cambio, restaurantes, e proximo do metrô. Decoracao em estilo classico, com muito charme. Tudo muito limpo e bem cuidado. Quarto com bom tamanho, cama, traveseiros e roupa de cama muito confortaveis. Apenas o box do banheiro um pouco pequeno, mas nada que comprometa a hospedagem. Cafe da manha muito bom, com otima variedade, fartura e qualidade. Apenas o horario em que é servido cafe da maha que é um pouco tarde, a partir da 7:20 am. Equipe e atendimento do hotel muito gentil, atenciosa e cortês. Recomendo bastante, e me hospedaria novamente neste hotel tranquilamente.

Great Location in Providencia

We have stayed at the Orly 4 times now, once for several days, the other times for a night while going through Santiago. We have always had a splendid time with excellent service and breakfast. We especially like its location -- close walk to old town Santiago and the newest shopping areas. But the best part is the neighborhood -- an eclectic mix of restaurants/cafes, interesting shopping, and cultural sights. Given a choice, we would not stay anywhere else in Santiago.

O hotel, embora antigo, está muito bem conservado, é super charmoso e a limpeza é impecável. Está muito bem localizado, numa região com bons restaurantes, metrô, casas de câmbio... O café da manhã é bom porém foi praticamente o mesmo durante os seis dias que passamos lá. O único ponto negativo foi o wc com banheira e não box.
