"We spent seven days here in April, 2023. This is a lovely village with everything you might need for a great time. Restaurants were exceptionally good. The people were very nice and outgoing. Many spoke English. Lots of good walking in the area. We'd go back to this area in a heartbeat. If you go don't miss nearby Marvao castle and village. As for the house, there are 38 steep steps from the lower level up to the terrace. The middle flight is steepest and has no handrail. The house is 3 levels...

"This historical location was only made better by the home we stayed in. Each bedroom had special furniture and furnishings that were historical with a modern touch. The host was quick to respond and helpful each time. I hope to come back and visit in the future."
