"Property was perfect. Minor ant issue towards the end of my stay, so cleaning products to sweep etc yourself would be recommended. Other than that, fantastic location! literal walking distance to anything you needed. Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Figured if you find a space with blue lines you can pay at a metre. "A fabulous location, and surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the old town. Apartment 1 is at the top of the building with 2 steep staircases to navigate. But once up there it is airy and bright with everything you could need. No hanging space for clothes but lots of room to store items flat. Accommodating and quick response to messages with host. "Great studio with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Amazing view to while away your time with a book and booze. My favourite area of the Quinta was the relaxing large shared seating area great for whatever the weather. Lovely gardens and pool. Will be staying again. Visit to the local bakery Mariazinha is a must."

"The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. "

"The apartment was beautiful, two couples stayed perfectly. The area was very nice, away from tourist. But very easy to get anywhere you want. Bus stop right in front of the building. "This apartment is superb. We took heavy cases and we're on the top floor. This was a challenge for us. However, it has everything you require. It's in the best place for everything. Near cable cars, taxi ranks, lovely walks along sea front. Bed comfy, nice bathroom. We only stayed for one night as we were on our way home from another resort and wanted to see the old town and it was great."

"We stayed in this unit for 6 weeks in March. We were very happy with the accommodation. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and new frying pans. The beds were very comfortable. The view was amazing. It was about a 10 minute walk on the promenade and through the tunnel to catch #2 bus to Funchal. The bus to catch #1 up the hill was a bit more challenging. The hosts were quick to respond to 2 issues that were resolved quickly. I would highly recommend this unit."
