This hotel is in decent shape, it is located very close to the airport and we used it on a travel day where out flight arrived late and we didn't want to drive to our destination (2 hours away) at night. The staff is nice and the grounds are acceptable.

We loved our stay. This is a tiny guest house boutique style hotel. The room was clean. The AC was only in the bedroom but freezing cold. You’ll need paper towels and wash clothes for hand drying and bathing. Breakfast was wonderful. Best coffee. Plenty of beautiful restaurants and about a 7 minute walk to the popular beach. Very safe area, even at night.

First night I was given a bed that sunk, next day my back was misaligned and gave me problems for two days, I was given another room with a firm mattress. The hotel is clean and has steaming hot water, the two rooms I stayed in had a faint smell of cigarettes, the decore is out dated but clean. The breakfast is good and the area is pretty safe, I wouldn’t mind staying again but only if the mattress is firm. The staff are friendly. The WiFi works great in any area if the property. Air conditioners work great.

You will feel like is your home. Abel the security person with his kindness. Iraiza being attentive during morning breakfast. Overall, I felt secure and in home, even staying alone for one night. I will come back if I have to.

I front desk young lady was very nice. I found late at night that thed two bed sheets were dity with long dark hairs and one sheet with grease spot.. ment that they did not clean the bed prior to my arrival. I could not tell them until the moring when they arrived at the front desk. after 9 pm is not one at the front desk except for a security guard outside that was very nice also. I shoul;d have that night refunded..by expedia. We could sleep ell due to that incident..???

I have been staying at this property for over 15 years now (have stayed there 5 times). The rooms are not as nice anymore due to age I guess, and upkeep, but the hotel grounds are still well taken care of and the front desk is new, very nice. The pool is very small. The three high end hotels across the street (St. Tropez and the others) are a big draw for the area. But Boca Chica overall is not doing well, and now that Hamaca is closed, there is very little going on. The Whala is now the most popular hotel in the are and I tell you, it is horrible. I like Neptunos and would stay here again because of the beach and it’s quiet, and I believe in loyalty, but it is a 3 star for an average traveler (maybe). There are mini bars with water and beer and some rooms have full kitchens. But for this place to be very good again the area has to change and that is not their fault, it’s politics.

Checked in late by security guard. Everything went smooth except he kept our document until morning, which was uncomfortable. Room was nice and breakfast was freshly made and delicious. Restaurants in the area are open until late. Downside is no beach access.

The staff was friendly but the room which I stayed in need upgrading. 1 night would have been ok. The room lacked lighting, didn’t even have a night lamp or a mirror in the room. The pool was right outside my room and people were actually in the pool way past curfew. One night it was midnight and people were still at the pool. Another night I woke up to voices outside and people were in the poor at 4am.
