The upper level boasts a smooth sculpted interior with a bright living room, dining area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The master bedroom, adjacent to the living area, features an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom offers flexibility with twin beds or one double bed, and also includes an en-suite bathroom with stunning volcano views. The lower level, accessible via the outdoor staircase, presents fresh white interiors and cool fabrics, housing a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom.

"Canava" in Greek means cellar. The volcanic rock of Santorini was historically carved into caves with vaulted arches for storing wine. Each canava renovation is uniquely shaped and organically molded into the cliffside rock, offering a distinctive charm.

Wow! An Amazing Experience!

It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience to stay at this gorgeous “cave house” built into the edge of the Caldera on Santorini. The view from our deck was simply stunning. There were three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The lower level bedroom even had its own sitting area and small kitchen. And there was a small private “plunge pool.” To reach the villa, there were four or five flights of stairs to descend. And then of course when leaving, it was necessary to walk up those stairs again to reach the main walkway and the town square. Our hostess Jackie was very accommodating, we were met at the Square, and all of our luggage was delivered to our rooms and collected again upon our departure. She even recommended a wonderful sunset cruise and helped us reserve it, which we enjoyed immensely. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Greece!
