"Cute set up, and nice rooftop deck. It’s about 10K west of Tavira but we had a car so was fine for us. Easy access to a beautiful area of quaint towns and spectacular beaches. Seeing wild Flamingos were a bonus!"

"No property identification on road or property. Double electronic gates to property, long access rough track. Pool not covered or fenced, not suitable for children. House has 18 steps to upstairs bedrooms, elderly unable to use upper floor, used only bedroom on ground floor."

"We had a wonderful stay - Lemon Tree Cottage is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful area. Trevor and Alicia are fantastic hosts and provided everything we could possibly need for our holiday - from towels for the pool to deck chairs and beach umbrellas and even a cool box for picnics. They live on site so are nearby to sort out any issues - particularly useful if you lock yourselves out on the first day, as we did! (Tip - take the keys outside with you so you can always get back...

"What an oasis of solitude that is close to everything without being disturbed by crowds. We felt like we had the best of everything and felt lucky to have been able to secure our stay. It is a gem of a VRBO. João facilitated the stay, check in and made a point to meet and visit with us. We really did not want to leave and were sorry that we hadn’t scheduled more time. "What a gem of a place. We wish we discovered this spot earlier in our trip. Big, clean , spacious apartments . The staff are SO lovely and helpful they make everything run smoothly. I highly recommend this spot. Oh and the nearby beaches… out of this world! We hope to return one day."

"This was my 2nd stay here. A lovely place with kind, helpful and local staff. Very well looked after. I was made to feel at home, away from home. :) I like the way they upkeep the portugese algave charm throughout the premises.
