"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. The gardens and the pot plants throughout the exterior of the hotel are calming to the mind. The therapist Christina in the wellness centre was excellent and provided me with a very positive experience at the Luma Wellness Centre. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and our room and terrace were immaculately clean to a high standard. We loved the pool/beach bag provided and the coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was to a high standard and we loved the menu options served to the table. We loved the food in the restaurant,its presentation and the staff and manager’s attentiveness during our dining experience."

"Extensive breakfast buffet, hardworking, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and great outside areas. Some parts of the hotel, notably the dining room, could use an update but this did not detract from our stay."

"The house is a traditional Portuguese property with a lovely garden. It is situated in the heart of Tavira and very close to restaurants and places of interest but also very quiet.Maria the host is extremely friendly and communicated with us on WhatsApp prior to our arrival and was there to meet us at the property and explain how everything works. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and Maria was always on hand as she lives closeby to answer and questions."

"The only item I can say wasn't 100% to my satisfaction was the water pressure in the shower. I know I'm nitpicking. The breakfast was wonderful and there were so many different cheeses to try (7? 8?) and breads to choose from. "
