Stay away! And shame on you, Hotels.com

WARNING: This is not an hotel. It is a condo owned by an Italian. The owner did not leave me any instructions as how to get into the building, and there is no reception. No key was left with the security guy. No email or phone call was received with some kind of explanation. I called the Gold Member support at Hotels.com that same afternoon, and they did not manage to help me. 6 days later I still haven't heard anything from them (!). My card has been charged, and I have not been refunded. It is totally unacceptable.
