"This was a night stop for a long journey. The hotel accepts dogs, has free parking, comfortable, quiet rooms, and a good restaurant. It met our needs. We did not visit the centre of Valence, so it's location close to the motorway was convenient for us. The evening meal in the restaurant was great. You need to book, though; it's very popular. We were not disturbed by the building work on the new spa, perhaps because of a public holiday. Some might want to check whether the construction working hours are likely to disturb their stay. The spa will be great when it's finished, I'm sure. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely consider staying again. "

"A charming old fashioned hotel in a tiny picturesque village. The meal was excellent as was the breakfast. The only blemish to the stay was to find a charge of €10 to use their car park had been added to our bill. According to Hotel.com listing, free parking was one of the main attractions. We noticed this charge too late to query it."
