"We stayed at this amazing property for a week in June and it was incredible. Beautiful home, beautiful location on the beach in a secluded cove, beautiful property and amazing weather! Even though it was the rainy season we had sun every day and a couple of big rain storms but that just added to the experience. Felipe was very communicative and the on-site caretakers Manuel and Maria kept the place spotless. Highly recommend this place. "

"Casa El Faro was quite comfortable and well maintained spacious 2 bedroom+ home with great view of the town and bay below. The overall complex (formerly called Pelican Eyes) has suffered over the years, but rumor is it is soon to be reinvigorated with new ownership. Once the toast of the town this has the potential to return to that level. Walkable to town (albeit with a few stairs that could use a bit of TLC to reduce the slipping hazard - mostly due to rainy season so not likely a concern...

"My husband and I had an amazing stay here! Cozy, clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for.My husband loves to cook, and the property had everything we needed for our nice dinners with the sound and view of nature.I enjoyed my coffees in the morning listening to all different types of bird songs, and even the howler monkeys was an exotic nice experience.I highly recommend this place."

"This was our second time staying at casa tranquila! We absolutely love the house, the neighborhood, the views of the ocean and the jungle, all the monkeys in the trees, down to the guys watching the gate to enter balcones de majagual!!! Joel and Laura are always super fast at responding and making sure you are taken care of...... Gabriela at the Remax office is super helpful with lining up shuttles and SUV rental! We will be back! "The view is breathtaking, ac is cold, pool is refreshing and staff is fantastic. My whole family enjoyed this vacation. We had yoga instructors come from San Juan most mornings for family yoga in the private palapa as well as masseuses a couple times for sunset 10/10. The beach is really close, surfing is fun for all levels, restaurants are delicious. Town is about 30min out on a dirt road, and they are building a new road as I was there so may be closer soon - will be back!!"
