"I always enjoy staying at Mercure when I'm back down on the Gold Coast. The service was friendly at the Bar area. One disappointing thing was the Buffet Breakfast. The quality of the food was poor and the price too high compared to what I experience at other hotels."

"First of all the location is excellent… right in the middle of the rainforest, although the drive up there is not for the faint hearted. My room was very basic, which was expected. The thing I didn’t like was that the door to the deck didn’t seal at all, so when the wind blew at night it rattled the blinds and kept me awake. Parking spots are very tight for even a modest size car. Food options were limited and expensive. If you are not in a self catering unit you run out of choices quickly. I didn’t do too many activities but the e-bike ride and the morning bird watch were great. I did several solo hikes which were also great. The view of the stars at night was stunning."

"The property was everything we expected & received.We were three families ( 12 people in total) & the property had enough room to easily accommodate us so that we each had our own spaces.5 minutes by car to the great Kurrawa beach, walking distance to the huge Pacific Fair shopping centre. Theme parks were 25 minutes away by car. The communication of the property host Steve Adams was first rate. All in all a wonderful holiday. "
