Beautiful view of Old Sarajevo

We booked the room with the ensuite bathroom. The staff were very kind, friendly, and gave great recommendations. The room was simple but comfortable, clean, air conditioned and with a perfect view of the Pigeon Square (see photo). The location is excellent - just 50 or so meters from the Pigeon Square, close to the city hall, where the bus from the airport stops. If you walk past it and head up the hill behind, there are several hip and fun coffee shops. In front, the tram stops, making transit to the bus station easy. Overall, a great deal right in the Old Town! The only thing I would have done differently would be to to stay longer in Sarajevo!

I was picked up by the lovely hotel owner Damir, from the airport. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Old Town. The room and facilities did everything i needed, somewhere to sleep and wash. The only reason i didn't give a 5 star rating was because of the noise every night from men shouting and cars blasting their horns, but this is not thr hotels fault. I enjoyed my stay very much.

This is the best pension that I’ve stayed at for many years It is excellent value for the money. The location is literally the best in town. The airport bus and bus to the bus station is outside. There is also a supermarket and a delicious bakery/café on the ground floor The bathroom is absolutely sparkling clean. I have seen operating theatres that look less immaculate. The owner is very helpful and courteous. The only slight criticism is the foam mattress is a bit soft for my back, but that is a personal preference

Strictly speaking, this is a modest ho(s)tel and modestly priced. Nice beds and a great location. Beware that it is close to a busy street (that's is a consequence of the location in the vicinity of the main market area), but we had no complaints about the noise: we slept excellent. You do not have your own bathroom, but during our stay, it was always clean and never occupied. We were happy that we chose this one.

My time at Pigeon Rooms was amazing! I arrived late in the evening, so they sent me detailed instructions for a smooth self-check-in. The bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly spacious! The air conditioning worked perfectly and was controlled by remote. The location is phenomenal, it truly could not have been more perfect. It is directly across the street from the old square and the famous fountain, so it is walking distance to everything. Plus, there is a grocery store and a bakery next door that are both open late. The shared kitchenette was clean and equipped with utensils + other useful tools. There were more than enough shared bathrooms and they were all clean. The showers were hot and had great water pressure. Damir was an absolutely lovely soul and made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller. He is very friendly, professional, and clearly takes great pride in making Pigeon Rooms a great place to stay. I would absolutely recommend Pigeon Rooms and will definitely stay here again when I return to Sarajevo!

Best stay in Sarajevo!

Choosing this place to stay in Sarajevo is one of our best decision during this trip! We booked the 3-bed room with ensuite bathroom for 2 person - it was so comfortable and clean, we totally had the best sleep. The price is also very good especially since it’s perfectly located in front of the pigeon square. Damir is an excellent host, super responsive to our questions and helped us so much by giving us direction from the airport. We had a problem with our shower and he even came at 12am to help eventhough we said it’s okay 😭 we truly appreciate that and would recommend this place to everyone including family and friends. If we ever come back we would choose this place to stay again ☺️
