"A very quiet and peaceful stay. Villa is located 20 mins inland from the airport. You need a car to access as its located in a small village at the top of a very steep hill. However acces is simple, one long very well yarmaced road.The villa is very well restored in traditional stone and restored to a high level. Air con is in all bedrooms, but not downstairs in the living room /dinner or kitchen. But because it’s solid stone downstairs, it’s always cool.The outlook to the rear is tranquil and the view is of the surrounding countryside The villa is not overlooked and private. The host - Stelios is a friendly nice guy. He met us on arrival and provided water, eggs and wine FOC for our first night. He only came agin when the cleaners came to change the beelined, towels and clean around. He is always available via WhatsApp if requiredOverall a very pleaaant ans relaxing stay - but having a car is a must"

For an authentic Cretan meal take a very short stroll through the cobble stone path to a restaurant called η Βριση (e Vrisi ). The owner Myrto treats you like family and will make you a meal that rivals that of a Michelin star chef. A truly magical place to experience. "

"This hotel is just outside of the village of Mytros but only 5 minutes to drive in. We chose this hotel as it was convenient and close by with great parking it has a decent size swimming pool and nice outside space the rooms were well maintained and clean you can self cater should you wish. The beach is just over the road with sunbeds. "

"Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed in a beautiful setting. The switchbacks getting in and out were a bit daunting but we got used to them. Friendly hosts who gave good information on the area. "

"A beautiful spot in a lovely village. We only wish we had stayed longer. Beds and rooms are spacious well lit and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with delicious fresh food with coffee and fresh orange juice. It’s the same every day so if you like variety best be prepared to cook in your room or walk. Easy but somewhat hilly walk to the main square, full of vibrant tavernas with good food. Excellent friendly service from the staff. "
