"Our family had such a wonderful stay for the July 4th week. This home is close to so many Adirondack activities, from hiking trails, lakes to swim and boat, and kid friendly fun. "Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. "We stayed at the”Blackhaus” January 19-23. The house was perfect for our 3 teenage boys and my wife and I. It is a bit off the road which offers serenity and peace. The house is well appointed and met all of our needs. It is located just about 8 minutes from whiteface ski resort and about 22 minutes to lake placid. I Will definitely stay here again. "

"Perfect for a long weekend up for a tournament. Great location, quiet with easy access to both downtowns. Need to take advantage of the firepits next time! Only comment is it would be great to have a ceiling fan or something in the room - more cross breeze. But overall great!"

A charming place to stay that is quiet, relaxing, easy to get to, close to town, but far enough away, simple, and although there are several cabins, it is also very private in each one. There is also a gas station/convenience store that is very near by which had quick things we needed and even fresh salads to eat on two occasions.
