"We had a great one night stay at the Nirvana hotel in their presidential suite. The room was really lovely, large, comfy and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay and the breakfast and dinner were nice. "Hotel has seen some life over the years, so could do with a bit of refurb (rooms). But the outside area, garden, pool etc is really nice. You spend most pf the time outside and its lovely there. Pool - big; Palm trees - all around; Right on the sea front - yes. They have daily activities, most are for kids but still a bonus. Gym is quite small but is open 24/7 so you can use it whenever. Staff are of course great. Hotel gives off ‘white lotus - hawaii’ vibes, but in a good way. Breakfast is good, enough choice for everyone, both indonesian or continental style. Dinners (we had half board) were limited from actual ‘payable’ menu, but still good enough. Had new dish each night. Location - interesting. Most hotels in senggigi closed some time ago, so only handfull of big ones remain. It is very different to Kuta in the south. The nature is picturesque going up north, so worth it. Take a bike to bangsal and have 5min fast public boat to gili islands."

"The accommodation and facilities, along with the very helpful staff was excellent. We stayed at the venue for 5 days in total and can honestly say we would stay there again and again. The roon with its private pool and ouside shower / bathroom was exactly as described. There was a wedding next door to the hotel which was an interesting addition, which although loud celebrations, was something we are unlikely to experience again, and we were also welocomed by the locals with open arms. The venue was around a 10 minute scooter ride from Kuta, but this was not an issue for us, and the venue had a shuttle service for guests. Food was excellent, order everything, including room service requirements via WhatsApp and it us done, easy. We were also very close to the Mandalika Race Circuit, where we managed to ride around on our scooter. We could not ask for more, the staff would help you with anything you wanted, even arranging airport transfers and onwards travel."

"Hotel Origin was a really great place to stay.We had a couple rooms overlooking the pool which was lovely.The room was spacious and included the shower and toilet.Breakfast is included with a variety of pastries, toast, pancakes,French toast as well as eggs of your choice will be cooked for you.Indonesian food is also available for breakfast such as chicken and rice etc The staff are delightful, so friendly and very accommodating.We would often stop and chat with them during the day .The only negative was after our rooms were cleaned they smelt of body odour which tended to linger ."

Pool looked amazing but we didn’t have time to use. Not much in the way of ‘tourist’ amenities outside although there are shops and local restaurants. Sadly the western options for breakfast were very poor and the coffee was the worst we had during our 3 week trip in Indonesia - instant Nescafé."
