"We really enjoyed our stay at La Selva. Loved the guided tour that is included and also did a bird tour on the property which was great. Both guides were very knowledgeable and we had a great time on both tours. Multiple trails on the property to explore on our own. The staff was very friendly and helpful. " Beautiful grounds and property. Extremely helpful staff, fluent in English as our spanish is very elementary. The restaurant is fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. The location is in the heart of the city, directly across from what I would call the town square. Highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed!"

"Stayed for two nights. Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The lodge is situated close to the river which is good for swimming and has it's own forest reserve. We did two very enjoyable guided walks on the reserve with local guides who were extremely knowledgeable. We stayed in the family room which was rather rustic but plenty big enough for a family of four. The main frustration was the cold shower which didn't get fixed despite reporting on the first day.
