The home was exactly as it was in the pictures. The home and outside buildings were clean. The access to the beach was as described. We had a wonderful time and would gladly book again!

Convenient Private Location

Nice space inside the home. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. An advertised casita with an outdoor bath along the side of the house. The outdoor space was disappointing. No cable TV as advertised. Located about a mile from the Legacy bike trail, convenient to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Trees and fencing make the property very private. Owner was attentive to our needs.

Lovely spot. . But

Was a very nice property well located for quick access to Sarasota and nearby siesta key. Downside was dishwasher didn't work, mice left us presents every morning, roaches and inside shower backed up. Power went out first night and had to figure that out. Wasn't horrible but not the best

Confusing

House is very nice. However there's no instruction on how to turn on outside light to the barbecue area. There is also no tras bins outside to deposit the inside trash.

After reading the reviews I was hesitant but decided to do anyways, we were a family of 6 people and this place was a true oasis! The pros- it’s stunning, beautiful and has a rustic atmosphere, it’s very clean and the property is huge, my kids loved running around! We made campfire and marshmallows and the bunk bed definitely added a huge bonus for my kids!!! The cons- yes the kitchen has cutlery for 2-4 people so if you are a large group you might have to drink wine out of a regular glass as opposed to wine glass :)) but who cares? There was no kettle, plenty of coffee and coffee pods. These are minor things that to me were not even a con. The place also has some board games, grill outside which was useful and the beds were comfortable out of this world!! I am a picky person when it comes to traveling and I am going to book this place very soon again! To the host-thank you for providing a beautiful place, our trip was great!

A nice space but with some detail problems that make it a "do not return" for me.

Larger than I expected, and lots of nice outdoor and indoor spaces with some classy furnishings. However there are some problems that need to be fixed before I would go there again. The owners should live there for a while to figure out all the problems and fix them. One major problem is the water from the kitchen tap tastes musty, like drinking from a garden hose. Two burners on the stovetop do not work. Although there are dishes, there is a lack of kitchen miscellany such as serving spoons. A few things are broken, like one of the freezer shelves and one of the towel racks. The interior split wooden doors are very awkward because there is no bolt to connect the top half to the bottom half so that the door can be used in a normal way; also the latches on the wooden doors are not to code because they cannot be opened from the outside when your toddler has locked themselves inside. I would say those are the main points.

Exterior could have been cleaned up with a blower due to the numerous plants inside the compound. The interior could have been cleaned better. found 1 fake eyelash on a shelf in each bathroom.

Loved it

This home was so fun! We all enjoyed the outdoor shower and the many outside chill areas. Good location for what we needed, nice neighborhood, and the property is gated.
