Great, safe location and clean!

We selected this place after reading the review of Thad H. (April 2016) We concur and just want to add to recommending this place. Great , quiet and safe location for a relaxing vacation, yet being within walking distance to the beach and all the great attractions on St.Armands Circle. Pet friendly also, location is ideal for taking walks with your four legged family member!

Girls Getaway Success

Property owners were very attentive to our needs excellent people! Clean affordable walking distance to the beach and st. Armand's. Beaches were excellent the best I've been along the Sarasota Coast. Definitely recommended and definitely will be coming back.

Wonderful hospitality

The location was great, the space was clean and had everything you would need for a comfortable space to jump off into any kind of adventure. The owners were very responsive and understanding to a last minute change that was needed. I will be coming back again soon.

A comfortable and clean place for a week's stay. Make your own meals or walk to restaurants nearby. Outdoor grill and good sized kitchen. Less expensive and just as much fun as the resorts across the street. Good for four or five guests. Difficult to find a better bargain,

Spacious and clean

Very nice 2 bedroom condo that is extremely clean and quiet. The owners provide everything you need, just like you were at home. The beach across the street is crystal clear water with gorgeous views. We saw dolphins and manatees while in the water. Very relaxing! We will definitely rent the unit again!

Best around town

Ernie and Vicki were so accommodating and always available for questions!! So close to the beach. Be sure to bring quarters for the washer and dryer! Nice to have on site. We left a new beach umbrella for everyone too. Now there are two good ones! :) Enjoy your stay and check out the tiki bar!

Location, Location, Location

Really nice neighborhood; close to beach; great for walking. Safe area. Kitchen had plenty of space to use while cooking, and for storage. Two things that would be really helpful would be an exhaust fan in the bathroom, and a new vacuum cleaner. It did not pick up anything. Owner was very quick to respond to any needs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning.

Loved this little cottage!!

We wanted a place that would be quaint and comfortable. We were taking my parents on vacation to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. From the minute we drove up to the cottage, we were thrilled. Such a cute cottage, smack dab in the middle of everything. Just a quick walk to the beach or a little longer walk to St. Armand's Circle. The house has so much charm and the inside was exceptionally clean. It was everything we were looking for. The owners were wonderful and if we needed anything, were right there to provide it for us. We will definitely be back, and of course suggest it to our friends and family. It was an amazing place to stay.

Good price for location, but the house itself needs a bit of freshening up. Maybe a dehumidifier and let people know to bring beach chairs/umbrellas. The ones there are old and most are broken. Not really sure about the back yard/bbq area, looked occupied by tenants. Also, bring quarters to do your laundry since.

Sarasota Stay

This was a great location for the price, only a block from the beach. The unit was reasonably clean but could use updating inside (living room furniture and bathroom fixtures). The tub did not have any anti slip strips & the toilet was too low. Outside the unit could use maintenance (replacing of boards at bottom of roof - they were rotten). That took away from the ambiance. In general it was a nice place.

Wonderful cottage 2 minutes from the beach and St. Armands Circle

This cottage is more then we expected. You walk into a lovely size living room with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to the left. Good size dining area with updated kitchen. We stayed for a week and loved every minute of it. Two minute walk to Lido Beach which is a beautiful beach to walk and swim. Walk to St. Armand's Circle for shopping, foodie heaven and people watching. Drive to Publix on LBK for quick food shopping. Highly recommend this cottage and the owners were great to work with. Drive over the bridge back to Sarasota and have dinner at 1 of many great places in the Historic district. Cannot beat the price

Great last minute vacation

We had opportunity to visit family last minute in the area and was referred to this island vacation rental. We were not disappointed . The vacation rental was accurately described and matched the pictures and layout that was presented on online. The owner of the property was sure to let us know that she was available anytime for questions, concerns, and we could call her anytime during our stay. Plenty of bath and beach towels available for our use during our week stay. I would recommend this rental because it had a home like feeling, a 2 minute walk to the Lido Beach and 15 minute walk to the circle. Our favorite way to start each day was to have breakfast at The Blue Dolphin on the Circle, then to the beach during the day, Lunch at the Lido on the Beach Grill, the sunset at Lido Beach every night and the access to the shopping and restaurants in the evening Great vacation!
