Host went above and beyond to help us find tennis courts. Condo was very small if you are wanting to prep food - limited counter space. Limited kitchen dishes - two bowls, no cutting board. Outdoor space is shared - and the only table is outside. The area is pet friendly… and there was dog poop next to table for several days, very off putting to eat next to. The outdoor furniture needs a refresh. I was cold at night - limited bedding. This is a downstairs unit - and there is a rental above which can be very noisy when they walk around. Location was good. Lots of beach gear - towels, chairs, etc. Laundry on site is a perk.

No working tv and the entrance to the house was dangerous for handicap people to get to the price was extremely high for little amenities that was offered no stove and the hot plate topper didn’t work had bought a bunch of things to cook and couldn’t

The highlight of this mini vacation trip was the host Christie, she was very helpful and communicative. Telling me all kind of info for our trip. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for a couple. a nice patio to chat and relax after a long day. Very good restaurants around, walking distance and the beach is beautiful. We went to see the sunset and it is spectacular.

Great location with easy walk to downtown Sarasota. Also an easy drive to Siesta Key, Saint Armand’s Circle, and various other beaches. Small apartment in the back connected to the owner’s home. There is a fridge, microwave, and ability to cook small meals if needed. Apartment is clean. A perfectly fine place if you just need a place to sleep and relax a little in between exploring the surrounding areas and beaches. There is ability to do laundry, but just know that it is outdoor in a closet and shared with renters from the top floor apartment. This apartment is pet friendly. Not necessarily a negative, but you should know.

a perfect spot for an important weekend, at a great price

The property was perfectly located for our 3-day stay, and the owner was so accomodating to our needs. The entrance to our unit was at the back of the property (easily accessible), where there is a lovely and secluded area for morning tea/coffee or an evening chat. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and the shower was delightful on warm Florida days. So grateful-

Paradise close to everything we wanted.

We wouldnt in there long, but we enjoyed coming back after a long walk and dinner at St Armand Circle to a nice quiet little nest.

Delightful!

Everything about this rental is charming! Real artwork, live plants and flowers - inside and out! Fresh updated bathroom. Cozy romantic back yard. Minutes from Main Street and St. Armands. Off street parking. And the host, Christie, is a pleasure to communicate with. We had a great stay!

Excellent overnight stay!

Our host went above and beyond. The place was clean, quiet and extremely well organized. She happily accommodated our early check-in and even had treats for our dog. Very close to shops and restaurants. We would love to come back!

Elopement stay

We arrived at the property and instantly fell in love with it. The outdoor space is adorable and very private. It was the perfect get away for our elopement. We had plenty of space for the two of us and our two small dogs. They really enjoyed the fenced in back yard. We were walking distance to everything downtown and it was still nice and quiet. Christina and Lulu (sweetest pup) were so accommodating and nice. She even gave us recommendations for beaches and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to celebrate future anniversaries! We had the best and most memorable time here! :) Would recommend!!!

Sarasota Get Away 2025

Christie is such a great person, easy to contact, communicate with and a joy to just visit with her ! We love staying here, it’s a perfect location to all that we enjoy. The unit is simply wonderful in all aspects ! Christie was so concerned about the TV, so she changed to a larger size; she brought extra lights to cover a few dark areas, always being concerned about one’s comfort, what a great Host ! See you again, hopefully sooner ! Happy New Year Christie !

Great location, some issues

The good things: The apartment was absolutely clean and the neighborhood is wonderful! Very walkable to downtown amenities. The bathroom in the apt is functional and very nice. Issues and inconveniences: The bedroom is crowded for two people as the bed is in the corner so you can only get in and out of bed on the one side. There isn’t a place to hang dresses or longer items of clothing. There were items left in the frig and freezer when we got there, some perishable. Cooking facilities consist of a toaster oven, microwave and 2 burner electric hot plate but it’s fine if you don’t plan to do much cooking.

Mother daughter trip

The host of this property is amazing. I had to reschedule this booking last minute. It was past the cancellation date. She allowed me to move it to a later date. I texted with her several times over the next few months. She always responded. The rental was exactly as it was presented. Cute little apartment very well stocked and clean. Super close to everything we wanted to do. We went to St Armand's circle and Lido beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here

I have to say firstly this booking was on the back end of Hurricane Helene but there was no flooding in the area. We left St Petersburg Florida to make our way to this property. We were stuck at the Gandy bridge due to debris on the bridge after the Hurricane. So at 10am we message to ensure that everything was ok to which we received a message from the host to tell us that the ground floor property had water damage but the apartment above was available if we were happy to which we agreed was fine. After a long wait and journey down to the property we arrived at 4pm and made our way up to the first floor apartment. Firstly no attempt had been made to clear the garden area which we can let go after the storm. On entry to the apartment the first thing we noticed is that the sink was full of dirty pots and pans and no cleaning had been done and there was just a mattress with no bedding on the bed. The host was not there so I nessaged to say we were here to which she replied And said she was on here way. She said that she would need more time. We have her the benefit of doubt and with been on the road all day we said we would go for dinner and come back afterwards. We returned 3 hours later at 7pm to find that bed had still not been made. Again no host so I realised she was in the apartment below. I knocked on the door and she came to the door and said the bedding was in the washing machine. I said we were leaving and we would be expecting a full refund. Do not book.
