"My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. Right from check-in, the service was poor — the staff seemed unprepared and unwilling to assist, which created a negative first impression. Additionally, I was surprised by extra charges that were not clearly disclosed at the time of booking, which I find to be a lack of transparency. The situation got worse upon entering the room. The cleanliness was below standard, with the floor feeling greasy, giving an overall impression of poor hygiene. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was extremely noisy, making it difficult to rest and affecting the overall comfort of the stay. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations. There are several basic areas that need urgent improvement, especially customer service, cleanliness, and maintenance."

"Amazing! Friendly staff, large rooms/suites, with very comfortable beds. They have everything you need especially if you are staying for more than a day or two and hitting the local beaches. It's an older renovated building but clean and clearly well cared for. We stayed in a 2nd floor king room. We will be back! "

"This is a beautiful hotel centrally located in Sarasota. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and super comfortable. All the services needed were provided well. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay there again. "

"Our room was by the back entrance and it was so noise with the banging of the door and people talking. I think they were going out to smoke. I told them at the front desk in the morning and she stated that they have a lot of complaints on that room. "

"Staff was very welcoming, we only stayed one night. The rooms can use some new paint on the walls and cleaner bathrooms but I liked the room it is very vintage and I also liked the soundproofing cause the hotel was packed with guests and usually you can hear everyone going and coming out the rooms so it was a peaceful night sleep. Checking out was great too. I wouldn't mind staying there again."
