"This property was full of surprises! From the bountiful flower garden, the unique stone art sitting areas on each floor, and the wonderfully outfitted rooms! But what was even greater than the full sea view from the balcony, was the hospitality of the host who lovingly maintains the property grounds, finds books in guests’ language from the borrow library and inquires about his guests’ experiences and adventures. I would not only stay again, but I would entertain a longer stay. LOVED IT!!!"

"the home is lovely with a beautiful view. you are away from amenities like restaurants and grocery stores but they are willing to take you and provide a proper breakfast to your room. walking to the beach is just a walk down the hill but then you have to walk back up a very steep hill "

"Our family stayed at the Onos residence for 3 glorious days in August. The rooms are beautifully appointed, spacious and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen (everything needed for a lovely breakfast) and gorgeous views. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, arranging our transfers to and from the port and assisting with dinner reservations and other questions we had about activities, etc. The location was quiet and relaxing — away from the hustle and bustle of the port yet an easy walk...

"Not recommended for someone who is not up to the climb, the hotel, situated some distance up from the harbor, was wonderful for us. The location made the stay quieter, and the view lovelier. Mule transport (15 euros each way) made getting luggage in and out reasonably painless. The rooms were beautiful. We are not given to relaxing in hotel rooms much, but the wonderful ambience made us very happy to hang out there. The breakfast was great and the staff vary helpful."

"There was nothing to dislike. The apartment was clean & the kitchen well stocked . It was nicely furnished & we really enjoyed the old pieces of furniture. The owner was very friendly & helpful. He also met us at the ferry & lead us to the apartment which we probably never would have found on our own. We were greeted each morning with freshly baked buns which was a real treat!"
