"The hotel was very nice and clean, we loved the location. It was walkable to different shops, cafes, restaurants and it felt very safe. If I had the opportunity to go back to Barcelona, I would definitely like to stay there again."

"This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in outside of North America. I'm very happy that I chose the HG City Suites for my stay in Barcelona. After I decided not to stay in the City Center I looked for a place outside of that area and after a lot of searching on Google Earth, chose Gracia and the HG City Suites and I'm glad I did. The rooms are spacious (bigger than many of the rooms in the City Center) and quiet and the kitchen area (with a microwave, fridge and range) was a real bonus! We were able to shop for food at an amazing market only a couple of blocks away and have a nice breakfast in the room every morning. The hotel is in a very nice and safe neighborhood with several small restaurants and cafes close by. And the hotel is only a couple of blocks from a subway line (L6 and L7) that can take you to Plaza Catalunya (2 stops) and many other places. The HG price was right, the location was very nice and the staff was great. I definitely recommend it."

"Excellent! Very clean, modern, renovated with a rooftop pool. Our room was on top floor with a balcony overlooking Barcelona, including the two most famous landmarks and a view of the sea in the distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful giving us proper directions to metro stations, city center, beach and attractions! Recommend!"

"Decent for price. Toilet line broken so bathroom smelt of sewage leak. Shower head loose keeps falling. Shower door doesn’t close properly leaks water all over the floor. Clean and tidy, however. Comfy bed good sheets. "
