"We had a wonderful time at Portofino and we’re already planning our next stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They all know your name by the first day and are genuinely happy to have a conversation with you. The resort was beautiful, the rooms were great sizes and private. We loved hanging out by the pool and walking along the beach. The tour company on the dock was incredible as well and very flexible to your needs and schedule. We enjoyed the smaller and quieter feel you get when staying up north. The resort is about a 35 minute drive from San Pedro, but that was a plus for us. The hotel offers pick up and drop off to the airport and will help you rent a golf cart or call a taxi. They made it very easy for us to explore and get around the island. Portofino provided one of the best hospitality experiences we’ve ever had and we can’t wait to return. "

"Sand and Sky Resort in San Pedro was everything I hoped for and more. The property is stunning—beachfront, peaceful, and literally steps from the ocean. It brought such calm to my spirit and gave me the relaxing yet adventurous vacation I was craving. I was also able to dive several days with the dive shop just down the beach, which was incredibly convenient. A special thank you to Ronna, who was attentive, caring, and thoughtful throughout my stay. Her above-and-beyond hospitality made all the difference. "Incredible staff! “Slim” picked up take out food for me while he was getting some for his family. Alejandra taught me so much about Belizean culture, and Steve, the manager recommended things to do, arranged a massage for me, drove me to places and picked me up when there were no taxis available and a couple of times just because he wanted to! They were simply amazing!"
