"The very kind hostess gave us great advice during our weeklong stay. The gite is fantastic - comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, and nicely equipped kitchen. Avernes is a lovely town, close to many other small villages and beautiful countryside, but also easy drive to Monet’s house and gardens and larger towns. The restaurant in town offers delicious food, and the butcher is well provisioned…both an easy walk from the gite. Highly recommended, Thanks Sandrine!"

"Stayed here for a week in late August. Gite was within beautiful grounds of the chateau with lots of land. We have a one year old who loved to run around outside and visit the horses. Inside is very well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher etc. Rest of Gite is basic but still comfortable. Great fireplace for colder days which turns to face sofa or dining table. The Gite was in a perfect location. Chambly is a lovely little town but a few miles away is Chantilly with it's stunning...

"We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and spacious home. There were many activities for all ages. The heated pool, badminton, ping pong were great for the extended family to spend time together. They also have bikes and trails behind the house. The house was clean with plenty of towels, pool towels available. I would definitely recommend this house."

"A family of six adults we stayed at the Gîte during the Olympic Games 2024. We chose Thoiry because it was close enough to the horse riding venues at Versailles. We truly enjoyed coming back to the quiet of Thoiry after long, hot, exciting days at the Games. The house was exactly as described and photographed. Our two cars could easily be parked on the gated property. Fanny was the most considerate host. We felt very welcome and can recommend the Gîte to anyone who is looking for a relaxed stay...
