"The room was amazing! My girls loved the bunk beds and I loved the regular beds. Room size is huge, even by US standards- more like a suite with kitchenette. AC worked beautifully and blackout curtains were helpful for sleeping in a bit. Shower room is wonderful. Laundry facilities perfect! And little breakfast place next door was friendly and delicious! Would absolutely stay again!"

"Kyoto Brighton was a high quality hotel our family stayed at during the second half of our Japan trip. One thing that really impressed us was the staff's friendliness and professionalism - very respectful and bowing during each greeting. The hotel was very spacious and the rooms and bathrooms were large to accommodate us 4 comfortably. Location was good - just far enough from the busyness, and they offer a shuttle service which we used multiple times (convenient). The Hotel was right next to the Kyoto Imperial Palace which was beautiful and relaxing place to relax and walk. There is a controlled entry into the main palace areas but it is free and worth the time to visit. We loved how the hotel had different housekeeping options (i.e. trash, towels, supplies only, no making beds, etc...)- all we had to do was pick the options and hang the doortag on the handle. Only thing was that they didn't have laundry machines to do laundry but instead had dry clean/laundry service which was additional costs. We ended up walking 8 minutes to a laundromat which was fine with us. Overall great experience and appreciate the high quality hotel and staff."

"I really liked this property. The entrance was very soothing and welcoming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Their English was very good. I loved having a washing machine in the room. The machines were very quiet so I could run them at night. The beds were comfy and larger than I expected. The room was spacious for Japan. The location was great, very close to the Subway (less than 5 min) and about 10 min from train station. Also, close to Starbucks, restaurants, cafes, Nishiki Market and other hot spots. I would stay here again!"
