"Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town near all major attractions. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Room was a little basic though and smelt a little damp"

"The rooms could certainly be cleaner. The staff at the restaurant and some of the staff at the front desk were nice but we did encounter a few people that did not demonstrate much interest in their guests. The facility is a bit old and needs some updates. The location is great and breakfast was amazing. Overall, not sure I would stay there again for the price. It didn’t quite feel worth the amount we paid for it."

"The location of the hotel couldn't be better, about 8-10min walk toward the Light Tower and museum - a major attraction of Barra - and 5-7 min walk to the Morro do Cristo monument for fantastic coastline views. One can easily rent a beach umbrella with chairs just across the street to enjoy the ocean, breathing air, and quiet beach. We also enjoyed many restaurants nearby that offer local foods, acai bowls, and tropical drinks. The breakfast was very impressive for its variety. The room was clean but I had several mosquito bites. Service crews are very friendly but many don't speak English. The hotel is good for its value."
