We adhere to strict cleaning and disinfecting requirements in accordance with CDC guidelines. All towels and sheets are 100% cotton and washed in hot water with bleach and dried on high heat... Very clean and very comfortable, fresh Self check-in is super easy.

Each of our three suites can enjoy their large private outdoor patio facing the beautiful backyard and located less than one block from a general convenience store which stocks numerous amenities, snacks and convenience items.

The Sun Shine Suite offers two generous bed rooms with comfortable hand made queen-size pine beds, plus a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room.

The place was perfect! Very clean and organized, comfortable sleeping arrangements and extremely easy and convenient check-in.It was the perfect location for us too. We drove downtown to enjoy the shops, but then also had the quiet and cozy backyard to enjoy in the morning.Definitely plan to stay here next time

We had a great time staying at Sunshine Cottage. The location was perfect, close to downtown Saugatuck. The cottage was very clean, well organized and perfect for our family of 4. Really appreciated the interaction with John and for starting the bonfires each night!

We loved our time - beautiful town and the path is peaceful. The backyard is relaxing and a perfect place to chill. The pull out bed could use a pillow top comforter and the hot water could be turned down a notch. We so appreciated all the helpful labels too!! We want to stay longer next time!!

Weekend Couples Trip

We had a few hiccups in the beginning but the host was super accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall it’s a great place for a small group, clean, and a nice walk to downtown.

Sunshine Cottage

Wonderful little place. All amenities provide were lovely. Easy check out. Located between Holland and South Haven. Downtown Saugatuck was just 1 mile away.

Close to downtown

The Sunshine Cottage was perfect for our needs. It was very close to downtown Saugatuck and very clean with comfortable beds. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. The "cottage" is centrally located to area attractions. The landscaping is impeccable and creates a sense of privacy despite being so close to two intersecting roads. Check in was seamless, instructions were clear. The basement is a fun hangout and we enjoyed the firepit on our last night.The only downfall I really see is lack of bedroom furniture and the Adirondack chair in the living room is uncomfortable.

The house was clean, decorated nicely and had everything you need for a trip away from home. The location of the home to everything Saugatuck had to offer was awesome ! We were able to walk to dinner most nights and the beach was only a short drive away! We can’t wait to come back and stay here!

Super comfortable!

The location was perfect for me. I loved all the sunlight. Everything worked great. We didn't need or use the basement area, but the washing facilities sure came in handy when unexpectedly needed. Sorry we didn't have a chance to enjoy the backyard bonfire, but we had another commitment. Highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at Sunshine cottage. The owner was very responsive, the rooms and cottage were bright and clean. We used the cute outside picnic table for a BBQ night, and had a wonderful fire that the owner set up for us on one of our nights. Close to bike path and downtown area where we enjoyed lazily watching boats go by, and had amazing food. Will stay here again!

Our family loved it

My family and I loved staying here. Very clean when we walked in the door. Plenty of space for 2 young kids with 2 bedrooms plus the basement. We look forward to staying here again in the near future!

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in the Sunshine Cottage. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. Game tables and fire pit were an added bonis. Very convenient location into town and surrounding cities. Quick walk to Dollar General, gas station, and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.
