It was a great base to explore a part of France that we were unfamiliar with and our dog was well catered for with nice walks in the area and also from the cottage."

"Beautiful authenthic house in Brenne located next du Maison du Parc of the Brenne nature reserve were walks into the reserve start. Lot of lakes were birds and other animals thrive. The house has everything you need and a magnificent garden. Our dogs also liked it. For the kids the area got a bit boring after a couple of days of walking and birding as most lakes were private so we bought stuff were they could play with in the garden. The house was the old donkey house and is nicely restored....

"Fijn verblijf. Aardige en behulpzame gastvrouw en heer. Prachtig gelegen. Goede uitvalsbasis voor mooie fietstochten (E-MTB) door bossen, agrarisch gebied, dorpjes en de stad Loches. Het was koud (eind april). Het huisje ligt op het oosten en pakt weinig zon. Verwarming is OK, jammer dat de haard niet gebruikt mocht worden. Verder is het huisje goed uitgerust."

"If you are looking for peace and serenity this is the place. The rustic apartment blends well with the land. This is a location with ambiance, huge frog pond, many trees, birds and flowers, Even a little river. The owners keep a few chickens and some sheep. There is plenty of space to walk or just relax after your touring is done. The apartment provides the essentials including a washer which works very well. Oh yes, must not forget the wood burning stove with lots of wood provided. So relaxing."
