"This was a girls weekend for my mom, her sister and my friend. The property is very nice and there is a nice place to sit where you can watch the boats pass by. The large picture window in the living room is also great for this. The seating in the living room is great for relaxing and visiting. Appreciated the timely and clear communication with the host."

"We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!"

"My husband and drove from WI, when we arrived the instructions she left were perfect. The apartment is very well done, they thought of everything. Highly reccomend. "I have been coming to this same area of Raber Bay off and on for over 25 years and have rarely stayed at the same place twice. This was by far our best experience. The hosts were extremely accommodating and punctual with responding to any question. The home (including the private dock and yard) is very spacious, well thought out with all of its amenities to house a group of friends or family, and has a spectacular view of the St. Mary’s River. "Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. This property offers a lot of amenities, including handsoap, some sample toiletries, and linens. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any dishsoap, but being inexpensive...

"The host was very responsive, the home was clean and well taken care of! When I spoke to the host a month before our arrival, she said the dog fence likely wouldn’t be up, but when we got there it was up! SO helpful since we have 2 big dogs, was so easy to just let them go outside. We absolutely loved our stay for our first trip to SSM, would definitely book again! Only downside is limited parking - but we only had the one vehicle so it was no issue for us! "
