I have stayed in a lot of Chateaus- turned-hotels over my years of travel, so I think I can rave about this stay with credibility. It was a 10 out of 10. I loved the period architecture, the period fixtures, carvings, the 20’ ceilings, the paneled walls and matching room decor, and the thoughtful little things like the gourmet tea sachets, Nespresso/machine, and a shoe horn in the closet.

This is a great hotel we can't say enough positive things about this hotel. It was such a great experience, Regis the owner was a very gracious host and can help with just about anything We can't wait to go back the hotel made our vacation absolutely the best, we didn't want to leave. Large beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast, very accommodating owners, comfortable bed and great amenities. It's #1 on our list.

This is my second time at this lovely hotel. The owners are hands on and it shows in the care. The location, with views of the Loire, is breathtaking, I stayed in one of the rooms with Loire view and highly recommend. There is parking for a small fee and an excellent morning buffet as well that you should consider. Five stars!

Small room, no front desk, clean and good for one night

Our host is awesome!!! Property is beautiful! Love it!

The welcoming staff was very, very helpful and assisted us in parking our bikes downstairs. The view of the river was incredible!

My two sons and I were biking the Loire Valley trail and picked this hotel for Saumur. They were wonderful to us with the bikes (stored in a locked garage next to the hotel) and the staff was more than happy to suggest restaurants and areas to go. The room itself was very small for having 2 queen beds - we could barely walk around the foot of the bed. We had no suitcases just saddle bags - I'm not sure how a large suitcase would work. I don't recall an elevator so if you have heavy bags request...

Everything was wonderful. I stayed there 5 days and tried everything, le petit déjeuner delicious, le dîner incredible ! Only thing I didn’t know is that I had to pay extra to enjoy the jacuzzi (why isn’t it included ?). I needed it to warm up bc coming from Miami, the drop in temperature was brutal :). But it’s ok I still loved it ! Thank you !

Pleasant place with excellent staff and great location!!

Un petit coup de nettoyage sur les dalles de la terrasse ça ferait plus propre sinon tout était bien

This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the...

As we were cycling, it was helpful to have a ground floor room with space for our folders. As a value property, amenities were in short supply, but breakfast was welcomed. The ventilation could be improved and the bed was hard, but everything was clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and welcoming.

Nice area close to many castels and othr attractions. very friendly staf with good value for money.
