2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
We stayed at Majestic View Retreat from October 4–7 2026. When we arrived around 4:15 p.m., the master bedroom quilt had what appeared to be dried fecal matter on it, with no other blankets available. I also noticed the furniture had been chewed on by previous pets, despite the listing allowing pets. The countertops and cabinets needed cleaning before I could put my belongings away.I contacted the host within 15 minutes to report the bedding issue and request clean linens. The replies seemed automated, and no one arrived that evening. At 10:30 p.m. I stripped the bed and washed the sheets and comforter myself.A cabin that’s pet-friendly should still be clean and in good repair when guests arrive. Between the soiled bedding, chewed furniture, and a space that wasn’t ready to move into, this fell well short of what we expected. I would not recommend this property.
