Privacy in the Mountains - King Beds, Firepit, BRAND NEW hot tub with speakers!

Sheltered from the paved road, the setting of Sweet Comfort is completed by the graveled, pull-through driveway that encloses the classy looking cabin in foliage. Woods separate you from your only neighbor on the left. There is plenty of parking for guests, with no tight corners or steep climbs so that it's easy to drive in and out of the cabin. On arrival, a long elevated front porch overlooks the driveway and fire pit area. There is a Blink security camera that overlooks the driveway and front steps only.

Inside, Pergo floors with colorful carpets, scores of knotty pine walls, and soaring wood ceilings remind you that you are in the mountains! A wood burning fireplace for those chilly nights, leather couches, and dining for six with windows overlooking the woods makes the open floor place of this vacation rental like a 'home away from home'! A huge 42' flat screen TV provides hours of digital entertainment, as does the stereo. High speed kinetic wireless internet (100 megs) is provided for your convenience.

Three bedrooms make this cabin a smart choice for 3 couples, or extended family. Each sunny bedroom overlooks the woods, with a bed with topper and plush pillows, plus a flat screen TV and DVD player. The largest upper bedroom features a reading alcove with leather recliner in the dormer. Cabin-themed bathrooms with tub/shower combos are located next to two of the bedrooms.

A washer and dryer set in the upstairs hallway take care of any laundry needs you may have.

The fully-equipped L-shaped kitchen hosts a microwave, flat top stove and oven, full size refrigerator, and dishwasher. A blender, crock pot, coffeepot, and wide slot toaster oven take care of your small appliance needs, and plenty of silverware, glassware, Pyrex, dishware and Farberware skillets and pots allow you to cook when you feel like it.

On the screened back deck, a huge bubbling hot tub with cover overlooks the side yard while you soak away the tensions of your day. A charcoal Weber grill and glass patio table in the screen porch create an natural setting to eat your summer meals.

Unfortunately, pets are no longer allowed.

The cabin is located just off Route 356, less than six rolling miles from the town of Helen, or just 2.7 miles from beautiful Unicoi Lake and Anna Ruby Falls. Take in the beauty of the surrounding Chattahoochee Forest, tube in the Chattahoochee River that winds through the town of Helen, relax in a horse-drawn carriage in town, or ride your own horse in one of the two stables close to town. Shopping and restaurants are plentiful, and local wineries make for a memorable day during your stay!

Hidden Gem

Great location hidden in a quiet area. The hot tub was an added plus, a fully stocked kitchen and close to the town of Helen! The beds were comfortable and the indoor was immaculate but cobwebs on the porch furniture. The porch faces a nice lawn and a fire pit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend! The cabin is close enough all of the activities that the area has to offer while also feeling secluded during your stay. We had a small issue when we first arrived but the property manager promptly provided a solution. We would gladly stay again if we returned to the area!

Cabin was clean, comfy beds. Had everything you could need. We cooked 3 meals a day and had everything. There was even a portable highchair and pack n play. Kate was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit area and hot tub. Thanks for the great getaway.

Best Organized Property Ever

You can tell the owner has put a lot of effort into making sure their guests have a good time. They put together a guidebook on the coffee table that was very helpful. They had the TV set up perfectly for coming in and logging into whatever platform you belong to. The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've been in.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Met longtime friends here for a fun, relaxing weekend. Cabin was very comfortable and the hot tub was nice for relaxing in the evenings. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit roasting hotdogs, marshmallows and watching the fireflies! The only suggestion for other guests would be put early risers in the first floor bedroom. The wood floors and stairs are very creaky! Great location to State Park and Helen.

GREAT GETAWAY!

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this nice mountain cabin. The location was quite and peaceful. The cabin was easy to find and we liked that it was not too far from some great German food in Helen. We really enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub on the back screened porch and we also had a nice time around the fire pit at night. The cabin was clean and everything was just like it was described. Kate, the owner, was great to work and made the rental process very easy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

LOVED EVERY MINUTE

This was our families first time visiting the Helen area. I must say our favorite part was the cabin! It was so relaxing that it was hard to leave and go exploring, and we were excited to get back everyday to our hot tub! The bed was so comfortable, it was very well equipped, allowing us to cook breakfast each morning, and might I say again - we LOVED the hot tub! We will definitely recommend this cabin to any and everyone - except for on the weekends we come back! Thanks Kate!

Easy to get to but not enough paper towels and toilet paper!!

The bed linens looked dirty, the floors WERE dirty and there wasn't enough paper towels or toilet paper!! Glad we brought a couple of rolls of toilet paper with us!!!!! We had to go out and buy a roll of paper towels!! We were very disappointed!!

Great Thanksgiving Stay!

We all arrived on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, all at different times. Because the front door had a key code that could be entered, we didn’t have to wait around to let anyone in because they could enter the property at their own leisure. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a bathroom in it which I co wider the “master bath”. This was the only bathroom upstairs so if someone had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, they either had to quietly go in that bedroom to use the bathroom or come downstairs and use the one next to the kitchen. Thankfully, it was all family so this wasn’t a huge problem for us but may be an inconvenience for others. It is super close to Helen! This was a great family stay!

Nice but lacking...

The place overall was nice and handy to surrounding attractions. However, there were insect droppings on the hearth, dead spiders and candy wedged between a cabinet and the refrigerator. We had to climb on a chair to tighten light bulbs in the kitchen so we could see to cook. There was a bowl in the refrigerator to catch leaking water. Dusty silk plants on side tables next to the beds. One chair by the fire pit is ready to fall apart if someone tried to sit on it. Whatever management company you are using isn't doing a very good job. No remotes in two bedrooms. Would not stay here again.

Beautiful little place well located to town

I absolutely love this little place. It is precious. The place was very clean, the hot tub was ready, there were board games and DVDs, and the Wifi was fast (thank GOD, I have a teenager and I had to work one day). There were snacks and waters waiting when we came in, which was such a treat because we skipped lunch. I am recovering from pneumonia, so I spent most of my time inside. I was so pleased with how comfortable it was. My fiance and daughter found plenty to do within just a few minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
