This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away.

Because the hotel is located inside the old city walls and in the old town with very narrow streets, access to it is challenging with a car. However, because I had reserved a (paid) garage parking (15 euro and well worth it for us), I could come inside the walls to drop luggage and then proceed to the garage. It was such a pleasure to stay at this unique establishment. The hosts take you in welcoming the place explaining their unique way of life. The location is great, next to parking lot right in town. The sauna on a rooftop with a stargazing bubble and mountain views is spectacular. The charcuterie plate serves thick cuts of local meats and cheese, don’t miss it. The dog Neige is a great St. Bernard welcoming you along with two cats.
