"Room was clean. We needed to ask for a new refrigerator which they provided. The patio door was difficult to lock due to loose screws. They did come to fix it. We think those things should have been noticed by staff before our arrival."

"The renovations to the resort were great. Everything seemed much brighter than the last 2 times we stayed there. My wife and I always had a good meal at the buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner). As for the a la carte restaurants, the Steakhouse was great, but the food at the Italian (Milano) needs improvement. I had the fettuccine alfredo, which was a little watery, and my wife had the lasagna, which needed some sauce and cheese to go along with the meat in the inner layers. Those are the only a la carte restaurants restaurants that we ate at. The only negative amenity was the palapa system on the beach. Even though we were used to it from the last times we were there, having to get there very early in the morning to reserve one (I went at 6AM and even then only got a third row one at best before going back to bed and having breakfast), is a little inconvenient when you are supposed to be relaxing on vacation. We also saw many people who were very surprised, and disappointed, when they came down to the beach by 10AM to find nothing available. What doesn't help is when people come down early to reserve one, then don't show up again until after 11 or so."

"Staff was great. The quiet beach atmosphere was perfect. Use of kayaks, snorkeling gear, and beach equipment made our stay even better. Being located next to Flying Fishbone Restaurant made meals and drinks easy to enjoy at our own beach!"
