Retirement celebration

We were a group of 3 women celebrating retirement. The carriage house was the perfect size for us. Location was great, we got an uber from airport and walked the whole stay.We would definitely stay here again.

Great rustic place

Very comfortable stay for a girls weekend. Cozy cabin vibe with nearly everything you need. Plenty of mirrors, but could use some hooks on wall near door, a couple of chairs, and a box of Kleenex. Great location near Forsyth Square. The free Dot bus and the Downtowner app(functions like Uber- but free!) are amazing!! Would stay here again!

Great location and great price

My friends and I stayed for a girls trip and it was a perfect size for the three of us. It was nice that we all had our own bed, the kitchen was even bigger than the pictures online, the patio was adorable, and it was in the hustle and bustle of Savannah without feeling loud and overbearing. One heads up is the bathroom is a TIGHT fit, but works well.

A Carriage House Visit

Being close to Forsyth Park and much of the historic district was great. Even though the host was very clear about paying attention to parking limitations on the street, we did end up with a violation as we did not pay attention one night. It wasn't enough to ruin our visit but just a heads-up to those who follow us. The hop-on, hop-off trolley is a great way to get an overview of the area. Great food along the riverfront and an amazing lunch at The Olde Pink House. Overall, very impressed with the quality of service we received everywhere.

Most adorable carriage house ever!

I read all the reviews and this place totally checked out! It is simple and basic but totally cozy. The location can't be beat - 2 blocks from the center of Forsyth on a tree lined street with beautiful mansions. It was quiet and clean and just a minute walk to Kroger. Appliances worked great and beds were SO comfortable!

Small historic place

The space was fine. Small and exactly what was stated in listed as an old wooden carriage house. It’s like staying in a room in Mount Vernon or some other historical place. It’s clean but has a old feel to it which is not a bad thing. Location is safe and near the fountain. About a mile walk to the riverfront but a beautiful walk through the historical neighborhoods and squares.

Very clean!! Small bathroom, no place to set anything. Shelf or something in bathroom would have been nice. Poor outside lighting and uneven walkway. Outside door In poor condition, couldn’t close it. Overall, it was very unique, very clean, and economical. Would stay here again!

Issues

The pictures make it look more spacey than it is. There is nasty bug problem; my daughter was woken up twice by centipedes crawling on her. The oven is crap and we had to wash the dishes to use them. The cooking utensils need to be replaced as well. The microwave literally has a hole on the inside of it. The master bed is hard to get in and out of. I love VRBO, but I would never recommend this property.

It is a terrific location: beautiful area, great for walking, parks and grocery nearby. However, the property has many flaws. The wifi is spotty at best. The bathroom is uncomfortably small. I am 5’ 11´´, 160 and I could barely shower or use the toilet. I can’t imagine how a larger person would navigate that bathroom. Also you must run the hot water for at least 5 minutes before it becomes hot. I am not making this up; it states this in the house rules manual — shamefully wasteful. The tv is unwatchable. The double bed is difficult for sleeping 2 because it is built into the wall and involves a lot of climbing in and climbing over. On the whole, the place needs a facelift and a good cleaning. It is a great location and could be worth the price, but the owner needs to examine the property with an unbiased and critical eye.

Fine place/horrible sleep

The property is located in a great spot. One of the beds is extremely uncomfortable, and there are no doors in the 'bedrooms' to have privacy. The bathroom is so small it's hard to move around in. I'd probably stay there again if it weren't for the hardness of the one twin bed and the fact that there were rodents in the attic that kept us all up from 11:30-3:30/4. That's not really the houses fault but it happened two nights in a row and was exhausting.

Location, Location, Location

It's two blocks off of historic Forsyth Park, a great location to park your car and walk everywhere. The place is clean but very old. It might not be for you if you are not used to historic homes. The bathroom is a tight space. Overall, we loved it and will be back.

Perfect Pitstop

Our family stayed the night on our way to Florida. Exactly as described in the listing! Such a unique spot in the heart of all the history Savannah has to offer. Easy parking and check-in were a huge perk at the end of a long drive. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect find!

Rustic little place offering 3 separate beds which was exactly what I was looking for. The location is right in the historical district and that is a beautiful area to step out to in the morning. Everything is in walking distance or can be reached with a fare free shuttle bus that stops mere minutes from the place. Didn't bring food and coffee? No problem, literally 2 minutes around the corner is a grocery store with a Starbucks inside. Suggestion for the rental management team: A drop of oil on the bathroom door hinges would help not to disturb those who sleep in the adjacent bedroom. And .. maybe share a bit of what's nearby in your info folder. Your guests might otherwise not even know just how great the location is.

Boys trip to Savannah

Quaint coach house in the heart of Savannah historical district. One block Forsyth Park and just under a mile to River St. totally walkable if you are looking to get some steps in. We had a comfortable two day stay. The description says it all.

We would definitely stay here again! The location is just as pictured and felt very safe. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and we loved how walkable the location was. A quick walk to Forsyth park, coffee, breakfast and only a 30ish minute walk to the river one day.
