We absolutely loved the location and how well stocked the home was (kitchen, towels, games- so many extra touches). Easy in and out and appreciate the preservation of the historic charm
The host of the property was very responsive which I really appreciated!! The kitchen was fully equipped with loads of dishes and cookware. We loved the two dishwashers The location of the property was perfect easily walkable!
This property is very lovely classic from the 1880s, well maintained and well equipped. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils and cooking ware. It was a nice touch having Keurig coffee pods supplied by the host. We were a group of ten men and everyone had a comfortable bed.
The house is amazing! Plenty of room for our party of 10. The best part was sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch having coffee and visiting with each other. Walking distance from everything. Parking was easy. Michael is the most responsive property manager! So awesome and helpful!!
The kitchen and Butler’s kitchen were perfect. The dining room held us all. We had 2 family dinners and it was better then eating out, as we could talk enjoy our family reunion. It’s been years. The bedrooms were beautiful, spacious and plenty of bathrooms and showers. The house is very sound proof and you never heard anyone upstairs or barely in another room. The porch was everyone’s favorite for coffee or later drinks and just hanging out.
Our family of 10 adults stayed here for a weekend wedding. The location was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We loved all of the dramatic interior touches that you find in old houses.
We loved staying at this house! The history behind it was incredible. The location was fantastic! Extremely clean and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your time. We will be coming back!
Our extended family of 12 had a great stay and enjoyed exploring a new part of Savannah to us. Forsyth Park was beautiful and within a quick walking distance. And having the grocery store next door was so convenient.
We had a wonderful girl’s trip to Savannah. We enjoyed exploring the city. The house was amazing. We loved the charm of an older home along with the amenities of a “newer” home, e.g., A/C, washer/dryer, modern kitchen and appliances. The rooms, both communal and private were spacious. The porch off the kitchen was a favorite hang out spot.
We had a number of family members stay with us to celebrate our daughters wedding in Savannah. This was the perfect home. It was beautiful in a great location and we all had plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again.
I booked this property for my sister’s 50th birthday celebration on St Patty’s day. The house was the perfect central point for the celebration. There was some confusion on the number of rooms but Michael worked with us and it all worked out perfectly. A well maintained house with all the historic charm.
We loved everything about Savannah. The house was beautiful, the family loved the size and history of the house just as much as the convenience to Forsyth and nearby amenities. If available, we’ll look to rebook in the future!
11 of us stayed at the house for my bachelorette party and we had a blast. The house is comfortable, yet interesting and unique. It’s close to everything! It’s got charm and functionality. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Our group of 12 had a great time staying in this Victorian Mansion. Plenty of room and bathrooms for everyone, and the house was well stocked with general amenities and paper products. Property manager was easy to get in touch with and very responsive to our minor problem we had during our stay. Location was great and an easy walk to most places in Savannah. Would stay here again with a large group.
Our visit was great, the home was beautiful, with enough room for all guests no matter the age, and your instructions were clear and concise.
We thank you!
Lynn
This was an amazing mansion! There were six of us that stayed, found a murder mystery game in their game room that had all the parts and we were able to have a murder mystery dinner while we were there, so much fun! Communication with the host was fantastic as we needed him for several things. Note, if you are driving an electric vehicle charging, it can be a challenge in that area!
The house was quite nice. We did Thanksgiving there and the huge kitchen was a big help. There's enough room for everyone to have some personal space and the grocery store is right next door. It's a little bit of a hike to the waterfront, but you can do it if you're up for a longer walk.
The pictures reflect the home. It is beautiful and well stocked for a large group. We had many laughs rocking on the porch. Michael was very responsive and assisted us with last minute requests. We are grateful for that. Only regret - I wish we hired the in home chef he recommended. That would have made for a nice at-home evening. Highly recommend this home.
