This ground level apartment in a historic building right across from Colonial Park Cemetary is ideally located for any guest who wishes to walk everywhere during their stay. There are dozens of restaurants and tourist landmarks just steps away. There are hundreds of destinations within the 1 square mile radius. Beautiful heart of pine flooring. Newly renovated bathroom with walk in shower has marble tile on floors and walls. Adorable designer kitchen with turquoise cabinets and retro style appliances. Washer/Dryer in kitchen.King size bed in the bedroom. Pullout queen sofa in the living room. If you have a car you won't need it for most things during your stay. The cheapest public parking zone is simply the numbered street parking one block south of the apartment where it's $1 per hour 8-5 weekdays and free nights and weekends. Anything south of Liberty is that lower price. There are even some free parking areas about 3 blocks away from the apartment. The exact block the apartment is on is a $2 per hour zone with charges 8am-8pm Mon-Sat and free nights and Sundays. The numbered street spots can be paid for with a credit card via the ParkSavannah app
Visit city of Savannah parking services website for public parking deck rates and locations if you prefer to leave your car in a parking structure instead of on the street during your vacation.
This is a historic property from the mid 1800's. There are sloped wooden thresholds in several places throughout the apartment. These are smooth wooden humps which were meant to be walked over but they could be an issue for someone with a walker, or other mobility issues. There is also a small step up to the kitchen from the wooden floor and a small step down at the back door. Please do not book this unit if you are concerned those things might be an issue. This is a ground level unit but it is NOT handicap equipped/rated and not a fit for infirm due to these factors.

Everything was great! Host was communicative, accessing the property was easy and the location was amazing. Right in the center of everything and very safe and walkable. Bed was comfy.
The property was great. It was clean, well stocked and the location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to. Would definitely recommend to others and we would stay there again when in Savannah.
Absolutely perfect in the best neighborhood in the middle of the city everything was completely accessible and easy to get to the place. Had everything that we needed clean bathroom nice kitchen excellent bedroom. It’s really nice love the living room very cute and quaint.
This was our first time in Savannah and this place is perfect. We will book here again when we come back. There is not a thing bad I have to say about the place. You will not regret your stay
This was a great place and very centrally located. We parked and walked everywhere. Only moved our car twice. Once for street sweeping and once to go to Tybee. We had a great time!!
3 friends were able to stay for a few nights. Wonderful location close to transit and lots of walkable options. Decor was cute and comfy bed. Nice kitchen. Bathroom was beautiful but not any ventilation which is odd. Would stay here again.
This was a second visit, so we knew what to expect and it didn’t disappoint. Property is right on a not busy street and walking is the way we got around. The decor is is lovely and the bed fabulously comfortable.
235 Aberdeen is a great location and the first floor unit is super easy to access. It's an antique home, so don't expect straight walls and smooth floors. It's got lots of quirky character. We have stayed at this location before and would consider it again.
Had a great time in Savannah despite the heat. The trolly stop was a block from the apartment and we got a tour without moving our car. Parking on the street was convenient with a pass from the traffic department. The bed was comfortable and kitchen had minimal supplies. Bring mosquito repellent and good walking shoes!
My only complaint was that the wifi was spotty and the visitor above me had heavy feet. But the location was stellar to all of the downtown tourist things happening in Savannah. Everything was a 5-10 minute walk! It was GREAT! Just needed wifi to work so I often couldn’t work but oh well.
We picked this because it was cheaper than most hotels and seemed to be the perfect location for Historic Savannah. We were right! It was perfect little apartment for my wife and I on a long weekend. It was clean and we had no issues! We got lucky and found a parking spot right out front and didn't move the truck the rest of the weekend. Paying for parking was a breeze with the Savannah parking app. We spent 15 from Friday through Sunday on parking because nights and Sundays are free. Everything was within 10 minutes walking distance, so we came and went several times. We would definitely book this again for our next trip. There's also a couch and room for blow up mattress if you have kids.
Right up the street from the Cathedral.
Old town trolley stop is there as well.
Neighborhood felt safe. Walked solo between the bars down alleys I would not have entered if I were in New Orleans. Multiple bars within two blocks.
Free parking on weekends. Public lots nearby, but they get pricey. Two spots in back of property, if you can snag one.
Would recommend.
This was the cutest property, we loved our stay! It was exactly as described in the pictures, super cute inside and extremely clean and comfortable. The best part about this unit though is the location. We were able to find parking a block south and only paid $1 for the weekend. After parking on Friday we didn’t need our car again until leaving! We walked all around from the apartment. It was even close enough that we could go back and forth during the day. There’s a coffee shop about a block south that’s amazing! Highly recommend and would definitely rebook!
We truly enjoyed our stay, so comfortable and visually pleasing.
My husband and I have very different needs and Mary was so helpful with finding a listing that really worked.
In fact, when the neighbors upstairs had a late and loud party, we were able to turn on the fan to make the perfect sound barrier.
When our family popped by to see where we were staying, they all really loved it.
Parker’s Market is conveniently located about a block away, Krogers supermarket was an easy 15 min walk through the most lovely squares, and right where we were was the right balance of bustling and quiet.
If only we had more time…. We hope to come again.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously. It is a great location, around the corner from a local market and lots of restaurants in the area. We parked on a Friday and walked everywhere. We checked out on Monday. We parked at the State Street Parking deck. Nearly 3-days and it was $28. The only issue we had was the refrigerator. It was not that cold, but all we had was some water and beer (2 main staples). Otherwise, it was great, so I rate it a 5 star. We would stay here again for sure. Perfect for a couple.
For us, this was all about the location. This place is almost right in the middle of town; everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance. We parked at the State Street Parking garage and left our car there until we checked out.
My wife and I booked a birthday trip for just the two of us. It was cozy, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Absolutely nothing negative to say at all.
I saw other comments that mentioned the street noise so we brought a fan, and it completely washed out any noise. Yes, you can hear street noise when you’re in the living room watching TV, but not in the bedroom. I would not hesitate to book again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Great location with a wide selection of places to grab a bite to eat and shop within walking distance. The apartment was very spacious with plenty of room for 2 adults or a small family. We didn't check-in until after dinner and it was dark. Upon arrival, there was no outdoor lighting when entering the apartment entry. The entry is under the staircase to the upper-level apartment, for safety reasons, it would be helpful to have a solar light or have the cleaning crew leave the outdoor light on for the next guest checking in. The apartment was clean, however there was a musty smell upon entry, possibly from old age of the building. Overall we enjoyed our stay!
We stayed over Thanksgiving. Location was good for us. Being on Abercorn across from the cemetery means lots of tours and tourists. Being street level means noise. But the city's quiet hours are effective, so it was actually better than expected. Kitchen and appliances are mini- yet we still managed to make 3 side dishes to take to dinner! The tiny courtyard was cute, if unfurnished. Apartment's furniture was OK, not super comfy but adequate for a 2 day stay. Couldn't locate a trash bin outside that seemed to belong to the apartment. Wifi was good. Bed pillows could be improved but linens were good quality and ample for 2 people.
