Historic 3 Bedroom Home on Oak Shaded Tattnall Street by Lucky Savannah

Tattnall Street is an often missed gem among the streets of Savannah, overshadowed by the cobblestones of Jones Street, which Southern Living Magazine dubbed “America’s prettiest street.” This quintessential Southern street will will make you feel like you’re coming home.

You’ll enter into the foyer, which has stairs leading to the second floor, a hallway that leads back to the kitchen, and opens to the living room to your right. Past the living room is the dining room with seating for six. The upgraded kitchen has a convenient island with stools and a breakfast nook. Enjoy your morning coffee in a rocking chair on your private porch just off the kitchen.

Upstairs you’ll find three beautiful bedrooms. The bedroom at the top of the stairs has two twin beds, perfect for families with children. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own private porch. These two bedrooms share a bath, which has a wonderful clawfoot tub. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, television, and ensuite bath with a double vanity and huge shower with built-in seating.

Nearby dining favorites include Mrs. Wilkes Dining House, where you’ll find some of the best Southern home cooking in the city, and the Crystal Beer Parlor, Savannah’s oldest restaurant. You’ll also be a short walk from Forsyth Park, Savannah’s largest park and popular location for weddings, music and food festivals.

Great location!

This house is located in a beautiful and historic neighborhood just a mile walk from the Savannah River. It was perfect for our family. The beds were comfortable, the house felt large enough for the six of us, and we enjoyed touring the city without having to use our car.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It was clean with comfortable beds. It was fun exploring Savannah and sitting on the front porch sipping wine. Great 60th trip for these ladies.

Great house, great location.

Five family members (all adults) spent a long weekend in Savannah. The house was perfect for our group and in a great location. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to go and it was a short drive to get to Tybee Island. Very close to Forsyth Park, great restaurants, and coffee shops! The house was as advertised and communication with Lucky was excellent!

This is a lovely historic home close to Forsyth park. The home is comfortable, spacious and welcoming. The management was responsive and helpful. Parking was easy. Walkable to downtown and Savannahs squares. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Perfect home base

With comfort and ambiance, this place was perfect for family of 5. 5-10 minute walk to a lot of options for shopping, restaurants and parks. Mattresses very comfy- kitchen well equipped- all very clean. Must go to Forsyth park and the Collins Quarter, extremely short walk (3-5 minutes?)

What a gem!

Loved our stay! Perfect for our girls trip to Savannah. Exactly as the pictures portray a clean, cozy, well loved, Southern home. Everything was perfectly set up, sheets were like soft hotel bedding, abundance of fresh towels and they even place travel soap and shampoo bottles out. Location is amazing, safe and close to everything Savannah.

Fans of Oak Manor

Wanted something special for one last family getaway before our daughter leaves for college this Fall and Oak Manor was the perfect choice!! The check in process was super easy and we all loved the beautiful historic home! House was clean, beds were comfy, kitchen had most everything we needed, and the location was within walking distance to all the things we wanted to do! Property manager was responsive and helpful. Overall an absolutely lovely experience!! Highly recommend, would happily stay at Oak Manor again!

Great spot to stay when touring Savannah

Lucky Savannah provided a separate app to download, which was actually externally helpful. It had all of the info we needed for check in, WiFi, and suggestions on where to eat with a google map of it all. The house was super clean and well kept. It was a 20-25 minute walk to downtown Savannah and only a 5 min walk to Forsyth park. Parking was very easy, right on the street. We didn’t have issues at all. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Savannah Getaway Location

Property was exactly as depicted in the pictures. Very clean, excellent location (3 minute walk to park, 5 minute walk to Kroger’s and 15 to the Riverwalk). The folks at Lucky Savannah were top notch - we had a couple of glitches on our end and they handled them quickly and professionally. I would definitely stay at this home again or at any of the other ones under their management. My only recommendation would be to replace the shower heads in both bathrooms as the water flow from them is very weak. Other than that, zero issues or complaints. 10/10!
