Stay in the center of it all at The Calliope on Jefferson. Explore the beautiful parks, colorful history and vibrant night life Savannah has to offer, when you are ready to retire after a busy day of sightseeing, relax knowing your apartment is just steps away. No car needed, this apartment puts downtown at your doorstep, 2 blocks away from City Market and 4 blocks from River street, Savannah's bustling night-life is just minutes way.

Built in 1890 this apartment has beautiful high ceilings, large windows and historic charm that you just can't replicate. Through a private entrance on Jefferson street, walk up the stairs and into your own personal oasis in the heart of the city.
The dining room is the hub of this apartment, with plenty of space for the whole group to gather and enjoy a home cooked meal or even a quick bite you picked up from The Grey Market just a few doors down. When you aren't out enjoying all of the excellent restaurants Savannah has to offer, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to create memorable meals.

Through the dining room, you enter the bright and spacious Living room, beautifully furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and vintage pieces. Just off the living room you will find the cheery bedroom, well appointed with a super plush king bed, sure to help you relax and unwind after a long day of exploring the city. The updated bathroom with tub/shower combo and granite counter is just off the central dining room. This apartment also comes with those little extras that help to make your stay all the more comfortable including: Washer/Dryer, Iron and Ironing board, hair dryer, Keurig coffee maker and FREE WiFi.

The location was fantastic and the apartment itself was great. However, the noise from outside was unbearable at times. You could hear people, cars, music, construction and the street sweeper at 5 am. If you want location this place is a 10/10. If you want peace and quiet I would say look elsewhere.

We had an amazing time in Savannah! This rental was perfect. Very close to all the attractions, bars and restaurants. We were only 2 very short blocks away from City Market and Riverwalk. Bed was very comfortable. Our week was minimal with outside traffic. Loved that we could hear the carriage horses and Santa going by. Lovely Christmas visit!

I recently stayed at this apartment in Savannah, GA, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is one of its biggest perks it was close to the historic district, easy to navigate, and within quick reach of great restaurants, coffee spots, and riverfront areas. It made exploring the city effortless.The apartment itself was well-appointed, with thoughtful amenities that made the stay comfortable and convenient. Everything from the furnishings to the small details felt intentional and high-quality. It was spotless on arrival and the overall layout made it feel welcoming and easy to settle into.Communication with the owner was another highlight. They were quick to respond, helpful with questions, and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. You can tell they take pride in both the property and the guest experience.

Overall we had an amazing stay! The place is cute, huge amount of room. Such a convenient location. Host gave a lot of good recommendations. Plenty of towels and appreciate the makeup towels. Only complaint was that there was only one roll of toilet paper.

We loved the location & charm of this hidden little gem. The bed was super comfy & we were in walking distance to so much. Right next to a reasonably priced parking garage which was a plus & so much better than paying a high daily rate to park at a hotel. Perfect for a couple for privacy and just steps away from restaurants, shops, river & historic Savannah. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was clean, couldn’t have gotten a better location right by city market. Me and my fiancé had a fantastic time during this stay. Dinner at Belford’s was great, we went out on the town one night, the bedroom was way bigger than I had expected and the bathroom was very clean and nice aswell. Once you figure out how to use the remote for the fans and lights it’s a 10/10 stay we will be back!

This is a lovely 2nd floor apartment. Air-conditioned, tall ceilings, comfortable bed, good cooking pans. It’s about a block from the Main Street in old town with many wonderful restaurants and shops!! Don’t miss Leopold’s for ice cream. The host was very responsive to our inquiries and easy to work with.

The property is in an amazing location. Super close to everything. I parked my car in the public garage next door(only 43 for the 3 days it was there), and walked everywhere we went. Riverside was about a 5 minute walk and Forsyth Park took maybe 20-25 minutes. It was the perfect size for the two of us and a very reasonable price. If I had to nitpick one thing; I would put curtains in the bedroom as it gets fairly bright early on in the morning. Overall, we had a great experience and on a return trip I would check for the availability of this property before looking elsewhere.

Great apartment. Exactly as described. Super responsive and helpful host. Great location. Easy check-in process. All amenities one could need for a vacation. AC worked beautifully (though it wasn’t that warm during our stay 1st week of June for Savannah). Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of seating for hanging out. Shower pressure was great. Came stocked with soaps and linens aplenty. 5/5 would recommend and would stay again.

Four fun filled days!

The location of this VRBO was ideal, located in the historic district of Savannah. The apartment was spacious and filled with light. It was very clean and updated. The kitchen was stocked with basic needs for cooking or baking, although we did neither. There is a large utility closet with a washer and dryer. One would need to supply detergent. Plenty of space for hanging clothes. The shower had a shampoo, conditioner and body soap dispenser. We loved the convenience of this location. We did not rent a car therefore walked every where. We were approximately 4 blocks from River St. and 3 blocks to Oglethorpe St. There is immense choices in restaurants, shopping and tours opportunities within a few blocks of the VRBO. The only complaint we had was the noise level in the evening. Many tours go by the apartment throughout the day and evening. Also as the bars closed, the noise level increased. We were able to adjust since we were exhausted from walking all over historic Savannah. I would not recommend this site for light sleepers.

Great location

Very roomy. Easy to walk to restaurants and sites. Only downside was every 2-3am a lot of noise, yelling. Outside on the street.

Perfect location as you can walk easily to just about anything. We loved the rental ! It gets a little noisy on the street on Saturday night . We still loved the place and would definitely go back

great location, parking too expensive

Needed info as to control of overhead lights/fan as well as TV. We are in our eighties so the access to the apartment up a steep staircase was difficult.
