"The staff were friendly- it was already 8:30 pm when we checked in- we went to room - I turned the covers down to look at the sheets- on my bed the sheets were not crisp- there were something that looked like crumbs in the sheet and there was a hair on the sheet. I put my blanket over the sheets to sleep there. the double queen room seemed too small it slept 4 but only had 2 sitting chairs and not enough space for luggage. The entire time we were there I only saw one rolling cart to get you luggage to and from your room. The 3rd floor fire alarm went off Sunday morning. I ended up lugging luggage, and a cooler from the 4th floor- down the stairwells. The pool area was so crowded we never got in the pool. I’m not sure for that price I will stay there again. I usually rent a VRBO in the area. The best thing about the stay was the staff- they were amazing- especially when the fire alarms went off."

"Was very skeptical about a motel- usually will not stay in them, however, after reading reviews I did book a room here. Very limited choices in the area. Upon arrival- check in was very smooth. Friendly front desk staff. Went to the room and pleasantly surprised. A total renovation of rooms, it is a smaller room but updated and very clean. I would recommend staying here and will stay here again the next time we are in the area. Also, Earl’s Grille earns a yes from me also."

"This was perfect for what we were doing and wanted. We went riding on the NATRA trails down to the Pickwick lake and this was a perfect location and cabin to come back to and wash the mud off then just relax. My husband and I loved that there was no WiFi and played games at night or just talking on front porch swing. Would come back!"

"Our host, Chris, was great and always responded as quickly as he could. The home is just like the photos show and very well stocked with kitchen items and beach towels. And the view is amazing. There were only three downsides. My family thought a couple of the beds were too hard and it takes quite a few minutes from the main road on very curvy roads to get to the house. Also we lost power for a couple of hours due to a storm and the gate to the neighborhood couldn’t be opened until it came back on. So our cars were basically stuck where they were. Other than that, our family had a great time and the kids spent most of their time in the game room downstairs playing pool and board games while the adults had plenty of space upstairs to gather together."
