Eco friendly lodge that I stayed in Costa Rica. It's a beautiful place but it's a little far away from everything if you don't have a car. With a car it's 45 minutes away from Manuel Antonio Beach. Breakfast staff is friendly but owner was a little too grumpy for my taste.

"The area was beautiful, but although it says 13 minute walk to the national park, it's actually a 13 minute drive. Not a big deal but just in preparation. The owners were super nice, the restaurants that we could walk to were very good. Just a beautiful area I would highly recommend"

"Great place to stay! Book it. Big open space. Great balcony with views of the ocean and the fascinating street below. Awesome AC. Washer and dryer was a luxury we used constantly. Beach shower downstairs. Supermarket and restaurants next door. Great host Raul. Honestly it’s an oasis in an otherwise beautifully chaotic place. Surf lessons and beach rentals from Pablo across the street. Monkeys daily. There’s nothing like it in the immediate area. Book it!"

"This property has it all. Fully equipped kitchen, private pool and a nice veranda deck. It makes you feel like you are in treehouse with nature. Birds and even some howler monkeys around. "

"Our family had a wonderful time in the condo and were blown away by the cleanliness, location, service and views. Vanessa was a pleasure to work with and the online pictures of the unit do not do it justice! Absolutely stunning setting with tons of wildlife and easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. The secure parking was also a plus. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Perfect for those times when you want to be in an exotic location but close enough to Quepos/Manuel Antonio for shopping and activities. The Tarzan Jungle House exceeded my expectations with 2 pools, and tropical vibe in the jungle. "

"Very good bang for your buck. Itza (the woman taking care of the place) was very easy to deal with and very friendly. The laundry machines were available any time we needed and we seen a few animals when there. "

As we were not the only guests in the house and weren’t booked in the main house we didn’t have access to the pool, but Itza generously allowed us to use the pool before the other guests arrived. There is nothing I would have changed it was a wonderful experience."

"We were super pleased with all the amenities and the location is very close to the beach and restaurants. We were visited by a pair of scarlet macaws every day! We would sit and stare out the windows and just watch them for hours, absolutely the highlight of our entire trip. Over 2 1/2 weeks we stayed at 6 different locations and this was by far our favorite. If we ever come back to Costa Rica this place will absolutely be booked."

"I gave them 5 stars because from start to finish we enjoyed our stay. So much so that we extended for a few days. The master bed felt like a hotel bed! My son loved having bunk beds and AC in his room. There are restaurants within walking distance and markets just a few minutes drive away. The beach, marina, and shops were only 10 minute drive away. The hosts were very responsive. They also sent cleaners a couple of times at no extra charge which was amazing when you have sand and dirt on shoes...

"This hotel definitely has the best views in Manuel Antonio. The sunset and the view of the ocean were absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend eating dinner at the hotel restaurant during sunset. We were on the top floor with ocean view and it was stunning. The only issue was that the elevator would go up to our floor but it wouldn’t go down. We didn’t mind walking down the stairs but it was tough when we were going to check out and had to carry our luggage. "

"Stayed with my family including two teen boys. The hotel was fantastic! All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. We arrived over 2 hours before check-in with the hope of using the laundry facilities. Even though we were very early Jose said our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. They do not have a laundry room, but they offer laundry services. We had the laundry picked up and dropped off quite promptly. They offer a free morning nature walk through the hanging bridges and trails on the property for overnight guests. The property is amazing! We saw so much wild life from the comfort of our balcony which included a hammock chair. Pack your binoculars! Other reviews mentioned the construction. They worked during the day while we were out exploring so it didn’t bother us at all. The on site restaurant had good options at reasonable prices. We ate there twice for dinner. Breakfast was very good. The only thing they could do better is have some Salsa Lizano for breakfast! I love that stuff!"
