I had a fantastic stay at La Garenne. The room was extremely clean, spacious, and located in a lovely quiet area, which made it perfect for relaxing after a long day of driving. Everything felt well‑maintained and thoughtfully presented. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area and I’ll happily stay again on my next visit to Saverne!

An excellent hotel that does everything it can to meet the needs of its guests. The hotel is set in beautiful well maintained grounds with a large, well-appoinnted terrace for relaxing and for alfresco dining.

Great view from the room on the top floor. Large room. Bathroom door warped so difficult to close - strange! Very good breakfast, choice between “healthy”, “sugar” or meat. Very tasty evening meal. Half-hour walk downhill into town, so it’s an uphill walk coming back.

Beautiful, friendly hotel.

Great hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms with plenty of eco friendly touches. 3 choices for breakfast we chose healthy and it was delicious. Perfect location for access to forest and also the town.

Could be better

Superb setting, up on the hill with nice views. Lovely rooms but no privacy in bathroom with no door. Service was non existent and both restaurant and bar were closed. Perhaps this is only because it was a Monday? Either way I think it should be made clear at booking as the hotel is located well outside of town.

Un accueil pro et chaleureux, tout en restant simple. La carte est parfaite, intelligente, bien pensée. La chambre est superbe dans une ambiance moderne avec des touches de bois. Lovely hotel that welcomes dogs

The hotel was lovely, well kept, great rooms, we had a junior suite which was huge and the hotel were dog friendly. Service was great and the food put on for new years eve was amazing. A couple of things meant they didn't get 5 stars, I would have liked to know in advance the full dinner menu would not be available, also that breakfast would not be available before 9am, as we were travelling and wanted to set off early. The hotel did everything they could when we raised this, so I cannot fault for them for that. Overall I would recommend this place and we would certainly stay again.
