"Even before our arrival only the day after cross border travel was allowed the hotel was very helpful explaining how they were operating with "social distancing and health precautions. On arrival and during our stay they were brilliant.....taking every health precautions, but making a warm and friendly atmosphere. The restaurant arrangements were brilliant....the food was excellent, even though they apologised for a " reduced" menu and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

In addition, the hand sanitiser provided wasnât working. Staff were initially dismissive. There was a handbasin the the room but not soap provided. Also no feminine hygiene bins. "Beautiful Chateaux. Rooms and updated with beautiful decoration. We had a Junior Suite, which was quite large and had many windows. Very pleasant. The only down-side was the shower arrangement. No enclosed shower area, only a Tub on top of which the spray shower can be attached. As a result all of the water ended up on the floor! Also the faucets could use an update, as they sprayed in a jet like fashion causing the water to splash all over. There was no A/C, but fortunately during our stay in late July, the temperature was very pleasant, and there was no need for A/C. Bed was a little hard and uneven. (could use an update). Convenient free parking on the grounds available. Surrounding pastural areas and views were lovely. Breakfast was high quality and very good. "
