Enjoy your time in our semi-retro, pet friendly accommodation situated in the tranquil Sawmill Settlement only 3 km from the Mt Buller Resort Entry Gates. This accommodation is nestled in a quiet court, with the High Country on it's doorstep.
- Close to Mt Buller to enjoy day trips to the snowfields with a 20% discount available for ski, snowboard and snow suit hire from Black Mountain Ski hire, in the Mt Buller village.
- Only 25 minutes from Mansfield to enjoy what the township offers.
- Lake Eildon is 1/2 hr drive away for water sports.
- a great spot for motor bike or mountain bike riding in the high country or simply relax- and enjoy the fishing across the road in the Delatite River.
- Walking trails are close by with a local waterfall within walking distance for those that enjoy a 2 1/2 hour walk.
- Drive to the top of Mt Buller for some more challenging hikes or mountain bike trail riding outside snow season.
This single level, 4 bedroom cottage is set up to accommodate more than one family at a time. A perfect place for Summer or Winter and everything in between. Keep warm with the split system heating/cooling, Coonara wood heating and heating/fans in each bedroom depending on time of year. There is a separate purpose-built drying room to dry all the wet snow gear or motor bike gear after a wet ride. Bbq facilities are on a covered deck, double carport and plenty of parking space for vehicles. Television is satellite TV or there is a library of DVD's available for your use. If TV doesn't interest you, perhaps an evening of board games does. The benefit of being in a court means you can enjoy a game of street cricket or tennis (equipment stored in the first bedroom).
The main bathroom configuration works well with the bathroom sink, shower and toilet each enclosed in their own area within the one room. The second bathroom is an en-suite off a bedroom.
No pets during Winter season (June- October 2nd) as they would need to be locked inside the house, unattended while their family is at Mt Buller during the day. Happy to discuss individual needs.
The Telstra tower is close by so Mobile internet works for Telstra and Optus mobiles. No internet is connected at the house.
Linen and towels are supplied.
Hand sanitizer is provided in the kitchen and bathrooms.
All surfaces, including high-touch surfaces (eg door handles, remote controls etc) are sanitized as part of the cleaning process and carpets and couches are sprayed with disinfectant.
