We loved our time here. A beautiful location and lovely accommodation. Felt like being in a designer tree house at times. Amazing hosts who were super helpful with local tips and advice. My kids fell in love with their dogs and wanted to take them home. Thanks Caroline.

Lovely place for a peaceful holiday
Snow Hall Barn was extremely comfortable, and well equipped - although a coffee machine would have been a welcome addition. The only complaint that we had was that there was a 1/2 full bottle of shampoo, a 2/3 full bottle of conditioner, and 1 with a tiny bit of conditioner in left in the bathroom cupboard. If there were supposed to be complimentary bottles, shouldn't they have been full?
The location is wonderful if you want a peaceful holiday - when we were there the owners of the main house were away, so it was extremely quiet, with skylarks singing in the field next to us. The local pub is only a 15 minute walk away though - but is quite expensive for food.

Charming barn
A charming, well equipped barn, situated within the quiet, rural area of Peasenhall - A great location to explore the surrounding areas of Suffolk, such as Aldeburgh, Southwold, Framlingham, Sizewell and more.
Lovely host who made us feel very welcome..

Wonderful relaxing stay
We had an amazing stay at Snow Hall Barn. The property was very well equipped, clean, and simply stunning views. Great communication and directions. Loved the BBQ and evenings on the terrace. Excellent follow-up service aswell when I had left something behind by mistake. Thank-you so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to others.

Happy time at Snowhall Barn
We spent a lovely week at Snowhall Barn enjoying the peaceful setting and lovely outlook from the house. The downstairs bedrooms were comfortable and very cool on warm nights. Upstairs the open plan room is lovely; spacious and very comfortable and the addition of the balcony is a definite bonus - so nice to step outside with a glass of wine in the evening. Friendly owners...friendly dogs!
We hadn't been to Suffolk before and thoroughly enjoyed going out and about to different places, lovely beach walks and heathland too. The village of Peasenhall is delightful with a few good shops, notably Emmetts the deli which sells so many delicious products that you wouldn't expect to find in Suffolk and a few that you would (amazing Suffolk ham) and also the butchers; delicious sausages and if they have the frangipane slices on the countertop when you visit you should definitely buy some of them!! We had two really good meals at the Whitehorse pub - the food there is a cut above what you'd normally expect at a pub and excellent service too.
We really enjoyed our time hope to come back again sometime.

Premium Holiday Rental
Premium holiday rental in an outbuilding converted to a very high standard and fitted out by an interior designer. The balcony gets the sun from lunch time until dusk with enough room to sunbathe and great for watching the wildlife. Private and quiet. There is a good view of the night sky for astronomy - (Bortle class 4). Great hosts too. Highly recommended!

Brief stay before lockdown
Beautifully situated and very cosy and atmospheric. Converted with design flair and furnished generously. Good bedding, well-equipped kitchen with plenty of scope for the keen cook, squishy sofa, etc. Cleanliness upon arrival could have been better, especially given the email we received about deep cleaning due to Coronavirus! The guest bed is pretty firm but the main room is v comfy. Bathroom let down by strong smell of mildew.

Terrific November mini break
Excellent barn accommodation for a 3 night stay over my birthday, with tasteful furnishings and thoughtfully decorated. I loved it, my husband loved it and our bouncy black labrador was in his element. It was just the restful break we needed.
If it is a rural location and peace and quiet you are after, then Snow Hall Barn fits the bill; however, it is within reach of a pub and Peasenhall village is down the road. We will definitely be returning.

Relaxing stay in Suffolk
We had a lovely few days in Peasenhall. The Barn was very comfortable. We loved sitting on the balcony and our dog was transfixed by the rabbits and birds. The Barn is in a great location for exploring Suffolk. The pub is a ten minute walk and highly recommended. Thank you for the milk, it was very thoughtful.

Lovely barn in easy reach of Southwold and Aldeburgh
We had a magical stay in this stylishly converted barn. Both my boys were tickled by the upside down layout. Having the living space upstairs meant that we got all the evening light and lovely views. It was lovely having an open plan eating living space with good quality cooking utensils. The children loved the garden and visiting all the neighbourhood attractions like Framlingham Castle. Our only downside was the gourmet pub in walking distance were very nice but not a place for youngish children but great if you don't have children :-)

Lovely Stay at Snow Hall Barn
Just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Snow Hall Barn. Great location, very clean, super comfy beds, great heating system. Very well equipped, our only gripes were that the Dishwasher was unusable because the door would not close properly and the toaster would not stay in the ‘down’ position and had to be held down until toast was done. I feel sure that the owners were not aware of these problems and that they will soon be sorted out. Owners were away during our stay, but we left a note for them.

Wonderful setting, accommodation and hosts!
The barn is gorgeous and has been brilliantly renovated and prepared for our stay. Our hosts were on hand when we arrived to settle us in and even provided a few essentials like milk and hot cross buns to get us started.
The barn is well situated for visiting the Suffolk coast and was very warm and cosy with very comfy beds. Our Labrador Brodie particularly enjoyed his stay as he got to explore all the fields around the barn.
There was plenty of room for everyone and the barn was generally well equipped. The only thing it needs is a High Chair (we had to take our own) and the chairs at the table are a little uncomfortable but they are two of the smallest things that did nothing to upset or stop the enjoyment of our stay and we will definitely be back!
Thank you for having us!

Lovely bolt hole
We loved our stay here, gloriously peaceful, lovely views and enjoyed visiting Buzzards in the field in front of the barn. Lots of lovely walks in the area and oodles of dog friendly pubs for lunches. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Snow Hall Barn.

Great location, Great accommodation
Very cozy, tastefully renovated and well equipped accommodation. We were very happy here and had everything we needed. Quiet location surrounded by fields but an easy 15 min walk to the local pub and another 10 min further on to the village.
We enjoyed lighting the wood burner which was mainly for atmosphere as the central heating system was very efficient. Highly recommended.

Needs a good clean
It was all a bit grubby. The kettle was ancient and full of limescale and the pans and crockery needed washing before use. There were dead flies on the windowsills and a dead wasp and moth in the bath. The shower was powerful and the WiFi was good.

A perfect bolt hole in a beautiful part of England. We would return.
This was the holiday that never happened. After a sudden family death we lost our holiday earlier on in the summer. That’s life (and death) so we found ourself in this perfect part of the country for a week, somewhere I’d always meant to visit. We were not disappointed either with this lovely part of Suffolk, or with the property on the whole.
Visits to the obvious places were highly enjoyable despite average weather. For music lovers a guided tour around Benjamin Brittens house is a must. Aldeburgh is lovely, Southwold in my view even better. We would like to return, and would love to go to Snow Barn again as it’s location gives even these village dwellers absolute peace, when we hadn’t realised how noisy our own village is.
