"The hotel is beautiful! Wonderful decor, great outdoor heated booths and the hotel/bedrooms area is incredible. Fantastic clean, beautifully decorated room with an expensive optional fan (great in hot weather); vanity mirror x2 which is perfect for doing make up; THE comfiest bed/bed linen we have ever experienced. Staff so lovely too! Food looked great but didn’t experience as was booked up (not surprised in slightest). We are definitely returning when we visit the Rhondda again 😊"

"The staff were great, but the room was disappointing, the pictures made it look bigger and luxurious. Our room was above the bar so the music was loud and we had either thin pillows or lumpy pillows, so my neck ached in the morning "

"Stayed here many times and always a lovely time and lovely breakfast but on this occasion 28/03/26 breakfast wasn't nice and bacon was so hard you could knock someone out with it when my mum ask for fresh bacon the waitress said well the bacon was fresh this morning and its all gone my mum went back and asked 10 mins later and asked if the bacon was ready the waitress said its cooking with an attitude this waitress need retraining in customer service as there is a certain way to speak and thats not it"

"Good welcome. Special request for room with a bath was met. Massive luxurious bedroom. Top end toiletries but dispensers could be lower down in bath area so they can be reached when bathing. Superb breakfast. Good to perfection. Excellent choice and served to you at your table. Delicious quality ground coffee. Always love our stay at the Cawdor. It never disappoints. "
